24.01.2022 God has called all of us to a vocation in life. Some to marriage, some to priesthood/religious life and some to a generous single life. His call is not about becoming someone that we are not, but becoming more fully the person God created us to be. This week, we are urged to pray about how God is calling us to live our vocation more deeply. . #beapassionist

22.01.2022 On the left is Eddie, one of our students in PNG, and on the right is Br Jerome Dunn CP, who first went to PNG as a missionary in 1962. Jerome has committed most of his life to promoting our Passionist Charism in PNG. He’s built schools, refugee centres, and even farms in order to help support local communities. His life is an invitation for us to reflect on how we will respond to God’s calling in our lives. #beapassionist

21.01.2022 Many Catholics know that there exist monks, brothers, sisters within the Church, but if a person has a vocation to religious life, how do they become a vowed religious? A Religious Profession Ceremony! What makes our Profession Ceremony different? Our Fourth Vow. #beapassionist

17.01.2022 "The ‘cross’ means that suffering that comes into our lives because of the choices we make for the kingdom, i.e. the choices we make for the coming of the reign and rule of God over everyone and everything. This to say that the ‘cross’ means the deliberate but difficult choices we make for integrity and truth, justice and love, peace and joy" #beapassionist #discipleship #vocations https://bit.ly/32tueSk

13.01.2022 Thang, one of our students, has been busy during the lockdown in Melbourne in the workshop experimenting with different sorts of Passionist crosses he has made and varnished. This Passionist sign we wear expresses our 'life commitment' to espouse the memory of Jesus' passion in our hearts through prayer and proclaim it through our lives. #beapassionist #cross #jesus #vocation #catholic

09.01.2022 Are you struggling with dealing with constant change due to COVID-19? Fr Erick reflects on how to manage this change in a Passionist way. Thus, each time we have a decision to make, we need to reflect, give our hearts a chance to speak before our minds come rushing in with imperfect answers. https://www.beapassionist.org.au/dealing-with-change-amids/

07.01.2022 A long tradition within the Passionists is what we call a "Gaudeamus," which is Latin for "Let us rejoice." A Gaudeamus is an opportunity for the students to deepen their relationships with each other, all whilst having a bit of fun! Our student community in Port Moresby, PNG, recently went on a Gaudeamus to the beautiful Varirata National Park.
