25.01.2022 The Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation (ACCF) (ACCF) has partnered with @TrueClinics and the Queensland Health Mobile Women's Health Service to run an expanded program this year, dubbed Operation Orange after ACCF’s signature colour . The Cervical Screening Test is recommended for all women aged 25-74, every 5 years. HPV and cervical cancer are usually asymptomatic, particularly in the early stages.... Women who have symptoms such as abnormal bleeding should talk to their doctor. The National Cervical Cancer Awareness Week is from the 16 to 22 November 2020. Information displays will be set up at Rockhampton Hospital and Community Health at 82 and 92 Bolsover Street, Rockhampton. The Cervical Screening Test is recommended for all women aged 25-74, every 5 years. In December 2017, the National Cervical Screening Program (NCSP) changed to test for the Human Papillomavirus (HPV), a virus present in almost all cases of cervical cancer.
