22.01.2022 Could all Jets riders in the 6pm-8pm group please arrive earlier this coming Monday, at 5.30pm. We’ve organised for QAS athlete James Moriarty to visit and talk to our riders about riding and training for IP/TPs and more generally about his pathway from a junior to a high performance athlete. We’ll be starting the talk with the 6pm to 8pm group at 5.30pm to minimise disruption to their track time.... James will also have a chat with the 5pm-7pm group in a break during their usual session. 21.01.2022 At JETS this Monday 2 November we are working on bunch racing skills and strategies. All groups will require their sprint bars. David's group will require sneakers and a yoga mat / towel for core strength work between efforts. Be ready to think "how can I win this race" and "why did I lose (a particular race in the past)". We will be discussing how you might learn from each others experiences so that you can improve for the next race. Nick's group will be working on Flying 200's and sprint Derby's.

21.01.2022 JETS athletes please remember to enter the Qld Track Series Round 1 by the weekend (Racing is September 11 & 12). There is junior racing early on Friday evening and Saturday early afternoon including bunch races and some team events. Next Monday: All u15's and u17's need their IP bars. Everyone please bring rollers and sneakers.... Ensure you bring some suitable snacks to keep your "engine" fuelled for the session. Look forward to seeing you next Monday!

20.01.2022 A quick reminder for all JETS athletes to please come with their sprint bars fitted for tomorrow's training session. Congratulations to all who competed in round 1 of the Qld Track Series this weekend. Our juniors were fabulous. We even had a number of our u15's and u17's race in the adult divisions for the first time and perform brilliantly. Well done!



07.01.2022 For all JETS athletes in the u15 & u17 age groups: You will be working on individual pursuit for the next 2 Mondays (9 & 16 Nov). Then you will be working on the team pursuit (Mon 23 & 30 Nov). ... Please come with your pursuit bars fitted for all 4 nights. David's group will require a yoga matt or towel and sneakers for core strength work each night please. Good luck if you are racing this weekend. Look forward to seeing you all on Monday.

03.01.2022 Term 4 of the CQ JETS Program starts on Monday 5 October. It’s a public holiday so ALL RIDERS will start at 5pm. We’ll use our first session to work out our training groups for the term - so this week some riders will finish at 7pm and others at 8pm, depending on what groups we end up with. Going forward there will be a 5pm-7pm group and a 6pm-8pm group.... The coaching team is looking forward to welcoming some new riders and catching up with all our regular JETS athletes. See you all on Monday.
