17.01.2022 #WeMakeEventsAus is on Red Alert to raise awareness of Australia's highly skilled industry professionals, all of whom have had little or no work Since mid-March with little likelihood of restarting until well into 2021. Our industry includes a huge supply chain ranging from production, audio, lighting and video, to logistics, planning, transportation, as well as leading technology manufacturers.... Without additional support for the supply chain, Australia is in danger of losing its global position as a world leader in world-class events. Moreover, all of our incredible creatives and technicians could lose their livelihoods for good. We are calling for meaningful support from the Government until the industry is allowed to operate in a way that is not limited by social distancing policies including: 1. Grants not loans made available to businesses in the events supply chain 2. JobKeeper scheme extended until the industry is back to work 3. Extension of the self-employment scheme, tailored towards the industry #WeMakeEvents #LetTheMusicPlay #LightItInRed #TheShowMustGoOn #RedAlert #FreelancersMakeTheatreWork #SaveOurStages #StandAsONE #SoundOfSilence #SupportNeeded #EventProfs #Covid19 #Coronavirus #Roadies #Crew #Venue #Production #LiveEvents #Promoters #MusicMatters #CareCrew #Touring #RoadCrew #Sound #Lights

06.01.2022 "Love the new camera, the features open up a world of possibilities. We now only need 1 camera to Livestream, record and monitor performances in our theatre." K...ind words from Simon at Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music who just replaced their old camera with a shiny new P200. Side bonus - the composite out on the P200 fed directly into their backstage live feed system without having to upgrade any video gear! #WelcomeToTheFuture #NDI #NDItv #BirdDog #PTZ #PTZCamera #livestreaming
