25.01.2022 The CSDA will be holding their daylight day next Saturday the 19th of September from 1pm-4pm. A great chance to get your car daylighted, rego and club membership completed.

24.01.2022 Daylight/practice day 19th of September We are seeking expressions of interest to see how many people would like to have a practice run on this day, it will be a pre book/pre pay to have a run on the track so we are able to control numbers due to COVID. Please comment below if you are interested in just a daylight of your car, just a practice run or both, so we can work out an estimate of numbers. ... You will also be able to register your car with CSDA on the day. REMINDER: This is for expression of interest only. Nothing is set in stone and we may have to restrict numbers due to COVID restrictions

Next weekend, 1st & 2nd August we will be back at the track doing a number of small jobs to be ready for the start of the upcoming season. 19.01.2022 SSA GO TRAVEL FUND APPLICATION NOW Official Release Speedway Sedans Australia are excited to announce that the Application Form for the brand new travel fund ...SSA GO is now available at www.speedwaysedans.com SSA GO is available to all Speedway Sedans Australia registered competitors to help enable them to compete in interstate events. $30,000 will be made available every year for the next three years thanks to the support of Speedway Australia. Each competitor is able to apply for an maximum of $500 per application with only one application allowed to be made per year. As the sport has faced an unprecedented challenge, Speedway Sedans Australia is launching this funding program to help its clubs, associations, tracks and as importantly its competitors a mechanism of support as we all look to the other side of the COVID-19 crisis. 18.01.2022 Unfortunately Due to the current social distancing guidelines we have had to make the hard decision to postpone the start of our 20/21 season. This includes our possible 19th of September practice and scheduled October events. The safety of our volunteers, competitors and spectators are our number one priority and we must all adhere to the current government guidelines and rules set. We are still looking at holding a daylight day on the 19th of September but you will have to pre book your spot.

14.01.2022 2020 SSA NATIONAL STREET STOCK AND MODIFIED SEDAN TITLES CANCELLED Speedway Sedans Australia wishes to advise competitors that the 2019/2020 SSA National Street... Stock Title and 2019/2020 SSA National Modified Sedan Titles that were scheduled to occur in the latter part of the year in Tasmania have now been cancelled. With the ongoing uncertainty of the COVID-19 crisis around the country at present, Speedway Sedans Australia along with the relevant host venues were left with no option but to cancel the 2019/2020 National Titles for SSA Street Stocks and SSA Modified Sedans. Speedway Sedans Australia CEO Greg Lynd explains "It is with regret that our organisation has to announce that these eagerly anticipated National Titles will not go ahead later in the year due to the current situation around the COVID-19 pandemic". "It had been hoped that the border restrictions would have been relaxed by the time the two National Titles were to occur in Tasmania but as time has gone on that is now an unlikely scenario" Lynd continues. As a result of these cancellations Speedway Sedans Australia can announce that the 2022/2023 SSA National Street Stock Title has been allocated to the Gulf Western & Independent Oils Raceway in Latrobe Tasmania. The 2022/2023 SSA National Modified Sedan Title has been allocated to the Cranes Combined Carrick Speedway with dates for both events to be confirmed in the months ahead. Speedway Sedans Australia would like to thank the promotional teams and host clubs at both the Gulf Western & Independent Oils Raceway and Cranes Combined Cranes Carrick Speedway along with the competitors from both classes for their patience, understanding and co-operation as we navigate these unprecedented times together. 05.01.2022 2021 AUSTRALIAN TITLE 2020 has changed the world as we know it, from pandemics to opinions that divide our nation. One thing we can all agree on is that we love... racing! It was with a heavy heart that our Australian Title got cancelled along with the rest of the worlds plans, although we have high hopes that the 2021 season will deliver the goods! Amca Nationals are heading to Tasmania! The Australian Amca National title has had a face lift, with the evolution of our race cars, comes an evolution of format which will be hosted by Carrick Raceway. To start the tour off, on the 27th February, a week prior to the Nationals, the Tasmanian title will be held at Latrobe International Speedway with a boat full of the Mainlands guns due to attend, Matt and Russ Hardy, Reidy, Heseltine, Blanch, Cartwright, and Horan will face off against Tasmania's strongest wheel men, Blair, Ryder and Brookes. The following thursday kicks off the Australian Title on the 4th of march, scrutineering and practice during the day with the inaugural Calcutta on the eve of the title. Night 1 of racing will see an introduction of the Nationals Shootout for $500. This will only include the Top 10 standing drivers after the first 3 rounds of heat races. Winner take all over 20 laps. No points will go to National Title qualifying positions for night 2 On the final night after the last round of heats, only the top 14 in points will automatically qualify for the A-main. Leaving the top 6 from the B-main to battle it out for a chance to transfer through at the hopes of winning the most prestigious race of the year. 13th of March it's down to Hobart for a $1000 to win race on one of the best track surfaces in the country! With all the big names Locked in Hardy Motorsports, Reidy, Heseltine, Ryder, Cartwright and many others that are keen to try their luck on the apple isle. We hope to see you all there!
