25.01.2022 Happy Tuesday Kittens, Here is some important information to date regarding Dance Studios and the consumption of alcohol. This is effective immediately and we have been in contact with Enfield RSL advising of them of the same.... Due to the situation in Victoria, the SA Dept of Health has has decided that the drinking of a alcohol and dancing will not be allowed. This will apply to ALL dance studios. As a result the bar will no longer be open during our Tuesday and Wednesday night classes. Dancing is still allowed without alcohol at this stage. Due to concerns about the situation in Victoria and New South Wales and the risk it poses to South Australia, the Chief Public Health Officer has identified that some of the higher risk activities involving the consumption of alcohol and dancing in a licensed premises and the consumption of alcohol, playing loud amplified music and dancing in a licensed premises should not occur at the present time. As a result, the assessment of COVID Management Plans involving these activities will be paused while the situation becomes clearer. Please ensure you bring your own water but no alcohol will be permitted before or after class. If we receive a visit from the Covid Management Team and are seen to be doing the wrong thing then not only will it be a huge fine to us but also closure of our little Dance School. And this is the last thing we want, not only for us but for all of our Kittens. As things progress here in South Australia with further restrictions we will keep you all updated. At this stage it is business at usual but with the Government looking at Indoor Fitness Groups, which we fall under, later this week, things could change at the drop of a hat. Until we get told otherwise, we will continue to hold our regular Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Thank you all for your understanding and your co-operation in this. 25.01.2022 What can we say but we have the best Kittens in town! There was no teaching tonight so why not go out and have some fun with our Kittens! What a great social night! What a wonderful gathering of our Kittens from our classes! Our Kittens were purring on the dance floor and it was just so good to see them outside of a class environment. And they all scrubbed up pretty good too! Crazy Cats Dance School certainly made their presence tonight! Thank you all who came along tonight to the Starlight Lounge. 24.01.2022 What a busy but wonderful Wednesday night with our Singles and Intermediates! Everyone certainly built up a sweat tonight! In our Single's Group we revised the Candyman and Rock Around the Clock non partner dances and taught a new one called Power Jam. It was an action packed class and everyone did so well! In our Intermediate's Class we continued working on the Candyman Routine with Parts 1-3 and started on Part 4. Our Kittens are looking smooth!... We are pretty sure everyone will sleep well tonight! 24.01.2022 What a wonderful Wednesday night with our Singles tonight! Tonight we revised The Fireball to warm up and then we got right into teaching the moves for The Candy Man! For Kittens never doing Swing before, their paws showed us differently! Our Kittens are looking great! Well done to you all! We are pretty sure they will all sleep well tonight! 22.01.2022 No heaters needed tonight in our Singles Class! Our Singles danced up a sweat! Tonight we warmed up with The Fireball, just to limber up. We then revised Rock Around the Clock to keep our Kittens in check. After a quick break we finished working on The Candyman. We started with a slow swing song and ended up doing the entire dance to The Candyman! What a workout that was! And as if that wasnt enough we taught our Kittens The Wanderer. It really was a busy night! Our Kittens did so well tonight! They all looked great! And they will sleep well! 19.01.2022 Well it was another great night with our Kittens tonight! A lot of fun, laughter and plenty of learning! It was go, go, go the entire time! In our Beginners Class we worked on Part 1 of the Beginners Routine and then revised the Neck Breaker with the American Spin and Points. Only a couple more new moves and we will start piecing together the Beginners Routine in its entirety. Our Beginners are looking very smooth! Well done to you all! With our Intermediates we worked ...on the Triple Step Routine we put together! We worked on Parts 1,2,3 and 4. We then started to teach The Rubberband. Our Kittens are picking these moves up with ease! Well done to each and every one of you! 18.01.2022 What another busy night at Crazy Cats Dance School! It was go, go, go the entire time! Welcome back James and to our newest Kitten Audrey. We hope you enjoyed the class and look forward to seeing you both again. In our Singles Class we revised the non partner Dance "Cruisin". We then taught the Rock and Roll Waltz and finished off with Stray Cat Strut. Our Singles are doing really well and are rocking the dance floor. ... With our Intermediates we finished the Triple Step Routine and started on teaching a new routine Candyman. We worked on Charleston and Tandem Swing moves. 17.01.2022 Hello Kittens, Hope you are enjoying your Sunday. At your next class you will notice the Hall will be set up differently as of now. There are green markers on the dance floor that have been measured out to ensure social distancing is maintained, not that we have had a problem since being back! The tables are now set out that only 2 people only per table. This has been done as per the Government Guidelines and requirements. All our Kittens have been brilliant with follow...ing all the Covid rules! We, as your teachers, need to ensure that all protocol is being followed as outlined by SA Health and the Government so you are all kept safe and healthy. 16.01.2022 What a fun but busy night tonight with our Group 1 and Group 2 Kittens. The hall was purring, the paws were moving and our Kittens were all in a jolly mood! In Group 1 we revised the Hammerlock with the Haircomb Exit and Hip Push and then we worked on the Constantina. Next week all our Group 1 Kittens will be given their complete new routine to add to their repertoire. In Group 2 we revised Part 1 of the Beginner's Routine and added Part 2. We then worked on the Points Fam...ily. It won't be long before these Kittens join Group 1! Everyone is doing so well to the point they make our job so easy to teach you all! 16.01.2022 NO CLASSES FOR 10th & 11th NOV Hello Kittens, Due to the RSL setting up the hall on Tuesday for Rememberance Day, there will be no classes held on Tuesday 10/11/2020 and Wednesday 11/11/2020. You can all have a week off!... Darren and I will be heading to the Starlight Lounge, Pooraka if anyone is interested to do a little bit of social dancing on Wednesday night 11/11. You could put into practice what you have been learning! It is $10.00 entry, strictly no BYO of any kind. Soft drinks, tea and coffee and snacks are available there. This is from 7pm - 10pm. In the Singles Group we gaudy a new non partner dance called "Cowboy Hustle". We also revised the Rock and Roll Waltz, Rock Around the Clock and ended the night with The Fireball and Maltese Cha. It was a very busy night for our Single Kittens! And they all did very well! In the Intermediates Class we started working on the Candy Ma...n Routine. We worked on Part 1 with Mirrors Beginning. 13.01.2022 URGENT NEWS. Hello Kittens, due to the new COVID cluster that SA Health has announced, it is with sadness we will be cancelling all classes immediately. This also includes any Private Teaching. They will be cancelled for the next two weeks at this stage. We will monitor the situation over the next 2 weeks. ... We are incredibly sad about this announcement as we have all enjoyed getting back onto the dance floor and having a great time with you all, but we need to ensure all our Students are safe. We will keep you updated as we hear more from SA Health. Until then, keep dancing around your kitchen, dining room, back yard or wherever you have room and hopefully we will resume our regular classes very soon. 07.01.2022 Changes to Class Schedules Hello Kittens, Hope you are all well! It has been busy at Crazy Cats Dance School since Covid restrictions have been lifted with all our classes but even more so with our Beginners Classes. And we couldnt be happier to see more people wanting to learn to dance! So, as our Beginners Class has grown and more new students are booking in a decision has been made to add a new Beginners Class and changes need to be made to our structure. ... So, as of Tuesday 1st of September, the following class structure will apply: Tuesday nights: 7.00pm - 8.00pm: Our Regular Beginners Couples 8.15pm - 9.15pm: New Beginners Couples, that is new students who have joined us in the last couple of weeks. Wednesday nights: 7.00pm - 8.00pm: Singles for non partner dances 8.15pm - 9.15pm: Intermediate Group We have decided to keep the Beginners on Tuesday nights and have our Intermediates back on Wednesday nights. This is so Darren and I can teach you all together and keep giving you all the one on one attention and not be in separate rooms again. 06.01.2022 Well that's a wrap for our Tuesday night Kittens! Like all our other Kittens, these Crazy Cats have been outstanding in their learning. With all the stop, start, stop, start during the year of this pandemic, these Kittens embraced every change, brought so much happiness and laughter to the class and nothing but positivity every week. It has been a pleasure teaching them all. Each and every Kitten that has walked through the doors have been a joy and a delight. You make ...us so proud! Congratulations to you all on your perseverance and seeing this year to the end! You are all a credit to yourselves! Tomorrow night is our End of Year Social night for our past and present students only this year due to Covid but it will be a great night! 06.01.2022 Tonight was the last Wednesday night of teaching for 2020 with our Single and Intermediate Kittens. And what a year it has been! With everything that went on with the world with Covid, having to stop classes for some time, starting up again, then closing again and then going back, it certainly was a challenging time for us all but our Kittens embraced the revolving changes and supported us every step of the way and made Crazy Cats Dance School one very happy place! During ...the stop, start, stop, start our Single Kittens learnt a heap of non partner dances and our Intermediate's learnt not only new moves but 2 new routines. This is a huge achievement for them all! Who would have thought you could cram in so much in a short space of time? Well, our Kittens thought they could and they did! You have made us so very proud and know we walk out each week with smiles on our faces! We have the best Kittens in Adelaide! We have one more class next Tuesday night and then Wednesday night an End of Year Break up Party for our Students where they can all let their hair down and enjoy the night and farewell 2020. 06.01.2022 It was purring from start to finish tonight with our Tuesday night Kittens! The paws were tapping, our Kittens were laughing and the atmosphere was just wonderful in the studio tonight! In Group 1 we worked through the entire Routine ironing out any issues our Kittens had along the way. Have to say, there werent very many issues! Our Kittens are looking purrrfect! In Group 2 we revised the moves from last week and then worked on The Cuddle, Change of Place and She/He. Our ...Group 2 Kittens are looking wonderful! Keep up the great work everyone! 05.01.2022 Ooh yeah! Our Kittens in Group 1 were nailing the new moves tonight! They are all looking so smooth on the dance floor and putting their all in with the more difficult moves! Tonight we revised the Continuous Ropes with the Agitator and Hip Push and then worked on the Hammerlock with the Haircomb Exit. We then pieced these moves together. It is a real delight to see our Kittens doing so well! They makes us so proud! 05.01.2022 Oh my goodness! What a terrific night tonight with our Sights and Intermediates! The entire night was full of fun, laughter and high energy! All our Kittens put in their all tonight! And it certainly showed! Tonight in our Single's Group we revised the Blue Rose and then went on to teach the 16 Step dance. To say there was plenty of laughter would be an under statement! Tonight in the Beginners Class we taught Prunes Points 180 and The Shoulder Pass. We then put together Parts 1 and 2 of the Beginners Routine. We have to say each and every one of our Beginners are looking very smooth on the dance floor! In the Intermediates Class we revised Parts 1-4 of their Triple Step Routine and the...n worked on Part 5 of the Routine. In this section we worked on The Rubberband, The Lindy Circle and The Charleston. Everyone is looking great! Our Kittens know how to dance! 03.01.2022 Move over John Wayne, a couple of new Marshals have ridden into town! Thats right, we are going to take over the town! Well, our Dance School anyway! Darren and I are pleased to say we are now both Covid-19 Marshals for Crazy Cats Dance School. It is a mandatory requirement for all dance schools to have a COVID-19 Marshal on site at every class. This is to ensure all our Kittens are abiding by the social distancing rules for their health and safety. We have to say, we have the best Kittens in town who have conformed with all the rules and regulations without any qualms. They have all made our job so easy! Thank you to everyone! Kathy and Darren

02.01.2022 Happy Wednesday Kittens! It's that time of the week for our Singles and Intermediates Couples to get their paws onto the dance floor! Singles Group: 7:00pm - 8:00pm... Intermediate Couples Group: 8:15pm - 9:15pm Where: Enfield RSL, 1 Fitzgerald Ave, Enfield Cost: $10.00/person The following will apply to everyone: Everyone must sign in and sign out. This means you need to provide your name, telephone number, time you arrive and time you leave. No shared food but bring your own water. Strictly no alcohol. The bar WILL NOT be open Each student must use the hand sanitizer at the front door on entry and sanitize their hands upon leaving. Social Distancing must take place inside and outside the venue. Cleaning of amenities will be done between each class. If you are unwell please stay home and get better. 02.01.2022 What a great night with our 2 Beginners Groups tonight! The hall was alive with a lot of happy purring from our Kittens! Its just a joy to see and hear! In Beginners Group 1 we revised the ending of the Beginners Routine and then pieced the entire Routine together. Every one of our Kittens did an amazing job and look so smooth on the dance floor. In Beginners Group 2 we taught basic footwork, Hip Pass, Cuddle and Roll Out. Our newest Kittens are doing really well! 01.01.2022 It was another wonderful night with our Singles tonight! They all bring so much energy and fun to the classes! Tonight we warmed our Kittens with The Maltese Cha, Stray Cat Strut and Fireball. We then taught a new non partner dance called Cruisin. And just to get the heart rate up again we went over The Candyman and The Wanderer! Were exhausted just remembering what we did can only imagine our Kittens feeling it tomorrow!
