10.01.2022 Please try this Gin South Coast Distillery Quarantini Cocktails are on the menu this weekend - and this one is pretty special! Relax and enjoy a Lavender Martini 1 1/2 oz South Coast Sublime Vodka... 1 oz fresh lemon juice 1 oz lavender simple syrup 1/4 ounce vermouth (optional) Shaken with ice. Serve up. Garnished with a lavender flower. Syrup 1/4 cup dried lavender 1/2 cup sugar *or 2-3 drops of stevia 1/2 cup plus 3 tablespoons water Instructions In a small heatproof bowl, pour 1 cup boiling water over 2 tablespoons dried lavender buds. Cover with a towel and steep for 30 minutes. Strain the lavender infusion through a fine sieve placed over a small jar and discard the solids. Add sugar or stevia Place lid on jar and refrigerate until cold. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add gin, lime juice, vermouth, and the lavender infusion. Shake well. Strain and pour into a martini glass and garnish with a lime twist. LIME TWIST. To make a lime twist, use a paring knife and slowly cut around the lime taking off a long strip of the lime skin. Twist the lime skin into a spiral and place on edge of martini glass. @paul.s.bartholomew
