22.01.2022 No job is too big or too small! We created a more functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen for this client by altering their existing island. We extended the island for functionality. In addition to this, the bar back panel previously had an unsightly join, So instead of just replacing one of the bar back panels we thought we would replace the whole thing for a cleaner look. 16.01.2022 Let’s talk about cabinets or carcasses We use the most advanced hardware from @blumaustralia and combine that with Australian-made & manufactured board material. The result is simple; quality that is built to stand the test of time, stands up to the Australian climate, meets Australian standards and you will be supporting local manufacturing. Low quality board is invitingly inexpensive short term, but will end up costing you more in the long run... it is so important to... know exactly what your are buying here’s why: Australian manufactured board is made to the Australian standards and meets the E1 or low formaldehyde emission standard. The Australian standard states that the board needs to be moisture resistant particle board (HMR) or moisture resistant medium density fibreboard (MR-MDF). A lot of imported board is HMR and MR-MDF, but you have to be careful because it may be of inferior quality and that can ultimately jeopardize the long lasting quality of the cabinetry. Many imported boards have really big chips, so when you screw into those, the screws most definitely don’t take hold and they easily pull back out. Not exactly the structural integrity you look for in any kind of cabinet, never mind a quality one. 08.01.2022 Check out these before and after photos on this little job. The Client wanted a bigger island bench and more storage so we made it happen! We added a 600mm wide 3 drawer bank, installed a new bar back panel in one piece and installed a new stone benchtop. While we were there we fixed up the dishwasher for them by raising it and adding a kick board under to give it a real clean look. The client didn’t ask us to touch the dishwasher but something that took us an extra 30 minutes made a massive difference and left a smile on the customers face.
