25.01.2022 I would like to publicly post a thank you and farewell to Explosive Professional Wrestling as my time working with them comes to an end. It has been a long 7 years in which I built the EPW - From the Vault catalogue on Vimeo and had the opportunity to work with a multitude of talented people in creating some genuinely world class content. While I've enjoyed my time with them we parted ways in March of this year, as such I'm looking forward to my departure making way for others to have the opportunity to show what they can do with a world class promotion and look forward to what the future holds for myself

21.01.2022 One of the best plug ins I have been introduced to by a phenomenally talented colleague was created by Video Copilot and aptly named Saber. Whether you wanted an electric, smoke, haze or fire effect Saber has the customisation to fit and a range of colours built in. Needless to say it has been my go to when needing that added kick to a project in order to really set it apart and I can not recommend it enough for anyone working with After Effects. 20.01.2022 A number of years ago Banger introduced me to Video CoPilot and one of their free plugins Saber. To say it was a game changer is an understatement (seriously check out the Powerball advertisements anytime it goes over 10 million, that tracing is saber) With the EPW debut of Australian wrestler Casey Johns at Going For Broke I needed to create something simple yet could still get across her persona. This is where Saber came in to save the day

19.01.2022 There's a difference between a good quality entrance video and a bad one. A good one is customised to the look, personality and music of the character. An audience should know who is appearing and how they are supposed to feel towards them by what they see and hear. First impressions are always important so it's in a performers best interest to make a good one.

18.01.2022 Been extremely busy with a number of projects the last couple of weeks (there will be a number of posts so apologies to your news feeds) one of which was a simple promotional video for the up coming match between Davis Storm and Marcius Pitt at EPW's event Going For Broke on March 7th. When creating something for this sort of match the important elements are blending the visuals (modern footage and flash backs) together as well as finding the right sort of music which assits with the gravity they are trying to portray.

16.01.2022 Wrestling events have been a passion of mine since I was a toddler watching the WWE with my Grandfather (the Andre to my Hogan) so to continue supporting that passion through editing is a win/win. I get that opportunity through working for Explosive Professional Wrestling. There are so many facets to try and recapture from a live event from the passion and skill displayed in the ring, to the stage production, to the noise from the crowd, From a business perspective you also want to "strike while the iron is hot" in the days following the event by releasing it online as soon as possible. It is a point of pride that my turn around time in editing and uploading for a 2 hour event is within 16 hours.

09.01.2022 The latest hype video for Explosive Professional Wrestling's next event. Working in After Effects can be intensive on the PC but worth it when it all comes together. Interestingly the replication on the camera shot of Davis Storm did not occur in the project, (I went back and checked) but the effect works well in my opnion.

08.01.2022 A flashback to when I was editing EPW Perth - Explosive Pro Wrestling events. A standard 2 hour show with 3 camera angles would take 16 hours to edit, all of which was under the careful observation of Shepard. Years later, while the projects he changed, the observation hasn't.

Since the beginning of 2020 when I started this page and officially began to offer my services I have had the opportunity to work on many interesting and eclectic projects while striving to over deliver on the expectations of those who have reached out for my help.
