05.01.2022 A Description of the event from the Main artist, Anthony Pieters. I'm excited to announce that I will be producing my second show! I will be collaborating with ...Dream Crew for the performance and will be supporting the organisation Livin. My performance will bring awareness to mood disorder and substance abuse though live art, dance, theatre and multimedia. Get ready for an experience that will creatively evoke all the senses and bring forth social consciousness. At the end of the show, artwork prints and originals will be available for sale, with proceeds going to Livin. You will also have the opportunity to purchase their apparel and make further donations. $15 entry at the door. Mature audiences, 15 years and up recommended. Show Concept: The show is entitled "27" and is loosely inspired by the 27 Club, a group of artists who died at age 27 from either substance abuse or suicide. My character is someone who has a mood disorder and to deal with it, he turns to substances instead of choosing to speak about it. This path leads to a reckless life style and eventually affects his loved ones and his health. Although the path was an attempt to numb himself, it leads him to a place that feels even worse than before and leaves him mentally and physically weak. The character's age is 27 and the final scene reveals whether or not he will join the 27 club.
