13.01.2022 Greetings folks, we were tentatively gearing up for some socially distanced group experiences again at the pottery studio, planning a saturday intensive and facilitated studio time for term 3. I came so close to ordering flyers for the term! However it would appear that with the news of another lockdown, things will be put on hold for a little longer still. We’ll be in touch as soon as it feels possible to run classes again. There’ll be an afternoon children’s class and maybe a little sculpture course if all is well again by term 4. 12.01.2022 Really so in love with all the beautiful making going on here. Working with the hands so very therapeutic, creating intentional beauty, so good for the soul. At the moment we are continuing with our facilitated studio times. One more week before the holidays There will be news to come as to whether we run any sessions over the holidays and what is to be expected for next term. Such uncertain times. Open studio time is still an option for all Pottery Studio members and we’...ll be continuing to fire work, so this space is still feeling to be an opportunity for connection to self and other, as we learn to manage our own selves responsibly in terms of personal risk. If we can all be diligent about hand washing and surface cleaning, as well as allowing some space between bodies, I’m sure we can all benefit from the continued availablility of this space. I think working with the clay is a sweet remedy for some of the big feelings that can arise in the face of a changing world. Earthy blessings to all See more

08.01.2022 Warm greetings for the new year, Just checking in with details for facilitated studio times at The Pottery Studio @ECOSS (slight name change)for term 1 of 2020. -We will be continuing to run the Monday afternoon 12:30-3, and the Tuesday morning 9:30-12 sessions and are also looking at opening a Thursday morning session, 9:30-12, if there is enough interest to do so. Participation in the sessions will continue to cost $25 and are open to anyone interested in wheel throwing and... handbuilding. -We will also be running the 5 week intensive again this term, the classes will run from the 15th Feb- 14th March, 9:30-12 on Saturday mornings for 5 weeks. -ALSO, we will be at the pottery studio tomorrow and maybe also Saturday morning to do some sprucing up before we start back for the term. If anyone felt like coming down and lending a hand, your help would be greatly appreciated! If anyone is handy with a drill and electric saw there’s a few jobs it would be great to get finished!
