01.01.2022 This week at Creative Childcare Hamilton we celebrated NAIDOC Week. This years NAIDOC theme is ‘Always was, always will be’. This is recognising the First Nations people who have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years. Each of our rooms participated in experiences learning about Indigenous culture and traditions some of these experiences included making damper, reading stories written and illustrated by indigenous women, painting Aboriginal flags and learning what the flags colours represent.
