20.01.2022 Happy Valentine’s Day The Early History of Valentine's Day... Valentine's Day is named after Saint Valentine, a Catholic priest who lived in Rome in the 3rd Century. There are many stories about St Valentine and over time these stories grew into the legend we know today.... At the time of Valentine's life, many Romans were converting to Christianity, but the Emperor Claudius II was a pagan and created strict laws about what Christians were allowed to do. Claudius believed that Roman soldiers should be completely devoted to Rome and therefore passed a law preventing them from marrying. St Valentine began to marry these soldiers in secret Christian ceremonies and this was the beginning of his reputation for believing in the importance of love. Eventually, Valentine was found out and jailed for his crimes against Claudius. While imprisoned, Valentine cared for his fellow prisoners and also his jailor's blind daughter. Legend has it that Valentine cured the girl's blindness and that his final act before being executed was to write her a love message signed ‘from your Valentine'. Valentine was executed on 14 February in the year 270. #ValentinesDay

11.01.2022 Did you know.. Coffee dates back to 800 A.D. Legend has it that 9th-century goat herders noticed the effect caffeine had on their goats, who appeared to "dance" after eating the fruit of the Coffea plant. A local monk then made a drink with the produce and found that it kept him awake at night, thus the original cup of coffee was born. ... #CoffeeHistory #CremaLovers

10.01.2022 4 REASONS WHY WE LOVE COFFEE Have you ever wondered why we love coffee so much? Like, how is it even possible to love coffee so much? Well, here are just four reasons... 1. The Aroma There is no smell we love waking up to more than fresh brewed coffee. There is just something so inviting about the smell of coffee that makes us feel ready to face the day or feel renewed midday. ... 2. It wakes you up in the morning. And it’s so much more civilized than chugging a Red Bull at 7 a.m. 3. It's lovely after dinner too. And so much more civilized than chugging a Jagermeister shooter. 4. Its Cultural Character Coffee beans grows all over the world, which means that coffee can be widely diverse. From Ethiopia, to Brazil, to Columbia and further beyondcoffee is filled with character and unique qualities. #CremaLovers
