25.01.2022 Saturday the 23/05/20 our lovely lady golfers headed out in pristine conditions for golf. It was a tight battle out there with 13 of our ladies all vying for the win. It was Ann- Marie Adams sneaking home the winner on a countback with nett 65, in the stroke and putts event! Bon travail Ann-Marie! Runner up on the day was Liz Tehan with 65 nett. The ball rundown went to Robyn Eller with 71 nett, Paula Frost with 72 nett and Gail Harrower with 73 nett.
23.01.2022 Happy Fathers day to these 3 lucky dads who won our $20 gift cards. Will Delforce (33) our youngest dad, Lloyd O'Dell our dad with the most kids (5) and Fred Powick (83) our oldest dad.
21.01.2022 Wednesday 5th of August, Winter seemingly dripped away as a beautiful sunny day fell onto the Crescent Head Country Club course. 9 of our lady golfers shook off the malaise of winter and headed out to compete in the single stableford event. It was a tight battle out there, but it was the smart play of Margaret ‘The Dominator’ Hedge, who handed in a great score of 40 points to ensure that her feet stood on top of the podium come days end. The ball rundown went to Audrey Blewitt with 33 points and Paula Frost on a Countback with 33 points. N.T.P went to 6th: Margaret ‘The Dominator’ Hedge. Next Wednesday the 8th of August, the Ladies will play a Single Stableford event.

17.01.2022 Vet’s golf. Tuesday the 4th of August. Winter has seemly melted away as yet another beautiful day fell upon the Crescent Head Country Club golf course. Our veteran golfers took full advantage and headed out for a 14-hole Stableford event. It was a day that saw the Men’s Golf Club President Tim Cross hit the course firing! Handing in a great score of 30 points to win the day! Nice work Tim. Runner up on the day was Gary Edwards with 29 points. Third went to John ‘Legrope’ Lewis with 28 points. Nearest to the pins 6th: Kris Puckeridge. Lucky Draw: Dave ‘Runner up’ Tassell. (You'll get them next time tas). Next Tuesday the 11th August, the vets will play a 14-hole Stableford Event
17.01.2022 Saturday 23/05/20 was a beautiful day for golf and 14 of our male members took advantage of the lovely conditions before the winter months hit. It was Mens Golf Club President Tim Cross, who won the stableford event with some great shots on his way to 37points. Nice work Tim! Runner up on the day was Dave ‘runner up’ Tassell who handed in a respectable score of 34 points. You’ll get them next time Tas haha. Third place went to the Garry Williams with 31 points. The ball rundown went to Bob Standing with 30 points, Judd Bull with 29 points and Mason Marchment on a countback with 28 points. This Saturday the 30th of may will a stableford event with tee times from 7:30am to 9:10am.
16.01.2022 The golf course will be open Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th July, however there will be no carts permitted on the golf course. Tennis courts will be closed Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th July. Due to 87mm of rainfall over the weekend.
16.01.2022 Tuesday 23/06/20. Our veteran golfers headed out on a cold morning hoping for a win to warm their day. With a reset to the handicapping system, it really put the cat amongst the Pidgeon's in the 14-hole 4BBB event. Tony Mansfield and John 'Legrope' Lewis teamed up together and played some excellent golf to score 37 points and walked away with the chocolates on the day. Congratulations boys!! Next Tuesday 30/6/20 will be an 18-hole Stableford event.
11.01.2022 Tuesday 18/08/20. A cloudy morning loomed over the golf course as the veteran golfers teed it up in the first round of their Championship. We had a great field of 14 golfers head out in what turned out to be a tightly fought battle in the 14-hole stroke event. The winner on the Day was Warren Thompson (visitor) with 47 Nett C/B. Runner up was Gary Andrews (visitor) 47 Nett. Third Greg Wettengel 48 Nett C/B. The Leader in the gross for the Championship is Dave Tassell with 5 strokes in front of Tim Cross and Dave Walton. The Leader in the Nett is Greg Wettengel and Bill Phillips with 48 Nett. 1 stroke in front of Dave Tassell and Dave Walton 49 Nett. Next Tuesday the 19th August, the vets will play a Veterans Championship Rd 2 Stroke & Putts Event

10.01.2022 - CHCC Men's Golf Club Championships - Today (13/09/20) was the final round of the CHCC Men's Golf Club championships for 2020. It was a greatly contested battle for the top spot in both divisions with an abundance of quality golf on display. Pictured below is division 1 champion Michael Heuston (right), Division 1 Runner up Dan Tennyson (middle) and Division 2 champion John Lewis (left). Not pictured is division 2 equal runner up's Pete Thompson and Tim Cross. Division 1 equal Nett winners were Kale Waters and David "The Vet's Champion" Tassell followed by Dan Tennyson. Division 2 Nett winner was Mason Marchment followed by Pete Thompson. Congratulations to our new champions and all who participated.
