25.01.2022 Had a good surf on the dropping tide. Back home to mates place to relax, take a dip and wait for bourbon oclock. Club Hardy Sanur Bali. Best mates regardless of address. But, how sweet it is.

25.01.2022 New custom kneeboard. Step up 510" single into double concave with spiral exit out the back rail. Jarrod asked for deep double which gave a bit of V at the tail. Replacement of channels with concaves is something he wanted to try. My first kneeboard. I hope it rides how he wanted.

24.01.2022 On the measure rack for next custom board. 53" 21 3/4" Similar to baked potato Firewire. Customer wants, customer gets.

23.01.2022 64"223 Salty Pickle Twin with options. Rick Hardie (AKA Pickle Rick) asked me to make him his new sled. Step up in size from his 511" which he loves to surf. Extra fin plugs behind for small trailer fins if front are smaller. Primary setup is twin large or keels. Thanks Rick for asking me to make your first custom surfboard.

22.01.2022 Saturday in the bay. Its another fugu. Lucky I order the blanks in bulk. Still my favourite board to ride.

21.01.2022 Isolation madness. Imagine ordering your new board, picking it up, waiting for it to cure then isolation orders kick in. Robs ready to surf but the world has him on hold. Well at least for another week when the board can be ridden. Only hope the beaches are still open. Until then hes making the most of the situation. Looks like Julia Gillard surfs like GOAT.

21.01.2022 Tools down. Holiday time. Kuta reef in the background.

20.01.2022 Happy Friday! Well get through this shit together! #boardpornlol #tgif #tgiff

20.01.2022 This board has been on my racks for far too long. A gentle reminder from its owner, hows my board going, will i have it by Christmas? Sorry Nev. Its not an easy fix.

20.01.2022 Andrew Houghton pushing a nice turn. Custom triple stringer longboard.

20.01.2022 Firewire baked potato copy for Rob. 53". Flat deck with chamfer rail, deep single with deep double through the fins. Hoping the week ahead has glassing in it.

20.01.2022 We have updated the look of the V2 RPELA system, so we decided to give you a look at what you get inside the box of these FRESH looking devices.

20.01.2022 70" 22 1/8" midlength. The Dolphin. Flat through mid and under chest. Double concave starts behind mid point and gets deeper to make V at tail. Slight V in nose. Volume under chest and foiled tail rails for turns using the hard edge. Easy paddle board. Requested by Andrew Houghton.... Andy supplied the Dolphin and shark artworks. Another 100% hand made custom board for Andy. See more

20.01.2022 @herwavesco might be my soulmate. #boardpornlol

FCS single fin box with leash loop drill through. This board is retro style with rails, plan shape and construction. ... Full gloss finish. Feels awesome in the hand and under arm. Cant wait for the day it gets a test ride. I want a nice wave to get it wet on. Yals would be perfect for first ride. See more

19.01.2022 Time for major clean in the bay. Cupboards emptied and paint touchup cans reduced to 1 tub. Still never seem to have the one you need. Going to be a busy dusty couple of days.

17.01.2022 Next board on the stands is a mid length board similar to Channel Island "Mid Length" board. Andrew Houghton is becoming a regular customer. Must like the $750 T-shirt that comes with a free board.

11.01.2022 Green day in the bay. First time ive used resin tint powder instead of liquid. Got consistent colour and its super bright. Sanding resin tomorrow and get it ready for pin lines. 6"1" fugu shape. So much fun.

11.01.2022 6'10" Midlength. Dolphin model. Peter Cox wanted one like my board but with slightly more foam in the rails. Tint powder dusting on the bottom done by Pete prior to glassing. Hes moving to our southern shores so I hope he gets many uncrowded waves on this board. Thanks Pete.

10.01.2022 Got boards to make and plenty of time to do it. I figured there is no better time to do the big clean and reorganize my layout. New vacuum setup is finally in location and pipe work sorted. Racks added, cupboards moved and organised, possitive air vent added to draw air from aircon glassing room. Finally some control on room temp. Bloody luxury. First board on the racks is a single fin. Model name yet to be done. Solitube? Lockdown life in the shaping bay.

10.01.2022 Gloss days can be frustrating if it goes bad. Today is a good day. Stoked with the deck gloss coat. Wax rose to the surface and levelled out beautifully.

08.01.2022 Graeme took home a new 9'2" longboard today. Good way to start any year. 2021, bring it on.

01.01.2022 New 61" fugu for Andrew Stuart. Shaped and ready for fin plugs and Rpela unit. Artwork is going to be a challenge. Hes asked for green universe on the bottom. Ive got to figure out how to do it. Shaping is the fun easy part sometimes.

01.01.2022 With swell arriving soon I hope we all consider just how lucky we are that our sport/leisure/passion has not been banned yet. Dont be the person who fucks it up for everyone else. Set a time limit or wave count. Dont overcrowd and most of all enjoy every wave you catch. If you see a mate catch a good wave then give them a hoot and share their stoke with them. Then tell them Back of the line buddy. Bwahahahahahahahaha.

01.01.2022 Something different, Basalt deck cloth on Rics new 6'4". Template and rocker are a mixture of boards he likes. Plenty of discussion on the shape he wanted. In my world you get what you asked for. To the best of my ability. Like all boards, proof is in the ride. I hope this board delivers what Ric wanted to achieve.
