You guys are the best, the system is amazing, I'm eternally indebted to the volunteers and if it wasn't for the volunteers packing for me the collective would be inaccessible to me atm due to the high and complex needs of my family! 23.01.2022 Some horrible news I'm afraid... The THO storage space has been broken into and pretty much all of our equipment stolen! The police are looking into it but the ...tricky thing is that we haven't accessed the storage space since lockdown so the theft could have happened any time in the last few months. All of our equipment has 'THO' spray painted in neon green, and also engraved with 'THO' and a number. If you see any ladders, stick pickers or Joey bags on buy swap and sell type sites that have these markings (or perhaps painted over) please let us know at [email protected] Hopefully we can recover some of it and find who is responsible - Ellen

19.01.2022 This week is looking exciting and yummy. Lovely juicy seedless Navelina oranges, the avocados are a good size and good price as well. And a special treat - ORGANIC GINGER. Unsure of weight for size? 1/2 a palm size = approx 100gms.... be still my beating heart! And if that is not exciting enough we have Sun dried figs....mmm, mm We had a big order delivered during the week so many of our favourites are back in stock. Check the order form. Almond milk, potatoes, and Mustard seed are just a few. Some suppliers are very busy and orders are taking a bit longer to get to us.

13.01.2022 BREAD BREAD BREAD Hello Everyone. Another bumper week of orders, thankyou. We have 2 plain loaves and 1 fruit loaf of bread left over, Maureen and Irene are there til 12.30 today, so hurry on round to pick up a loaf. Elsewise you can get a frozen loaf at the Saturday market. We are sharing a stall with the market organizers at the front gate so you can't miss us.

Mandarins $13.50, Potatoes $2.60/kg, Avos $2.20, and Jerusalem Artichokes (try them roasted), Pink Lady Apples $6.50, Chestnuts $13.75 Deliveries come in each week so read the order form for additions.... We have some Basilio bread left over and we'd love to see you tomorrow (Friday) at the shop between 10.30 am and 12.30 pm! $7.50 a loaf which is a true bargain. Our big news is that we are going to be at the new weekly market every Saturday. Find us and bring your friends, we are not selling much (not allowed to at this point) but we'd love to see you there with lots of quality local producers attending at the market themselves.

05.01.2022 Spring is here, the grass is rsed I wonder where the birdie is. The bird is on the wing, now that’s a funny thing I thought the wing was on the bird!... Produce this week: Potatoes, Mushrooms Button, Oranges, Bananas, organic ginger, lemons and avos. Just for a bit of a change, or not. We have some seeds for you to plant, all spring planting. FREE First in, First choice. Mild chillie x 1pkt Jalapeno chilli x 5 Corn x 1 Purple climbing bean x 1 Rock Melon (Ha-Ogen) x 9 Tomato (Rouge de Marmande) x 1 (Commercial) Thyme x 1 (Commercial) That is the last of the seeds from what we collected last year. I will look out some more for us. If anyone wants to donate seeds, drop them in sometime Thursday or at pickup on Friday. I will see if we can participate in the Clunes Seed group (wouldn’t that be great?). We need bottles for liquids oils and detergents. Can be left at the back door of the Neighbourhood Centre marked for the CWC. Thankyou in anticipation. Help is needed to do restocking of containers. I expect that this would be done on Thursdays at end of packing or on Friday. If interested, contact Trish on 0490 340 702.

02.01.2022 Welcome to ORDERING WEDNESDAY. We have ordered Organic Bananas, Mandarins/Oranges this week. The local apples are finished but there are plenty of Jerusalem artichokes and potatoes in stock. Basilio bread and fresh soy milk are yours for the asking... All the usual yummy foodstuffs like cashews, black beans and dried fruit are available. This colder weather seems to demand more of the comfort food, so let's cook some veggie soups with your choice of beans or lentils. A hearty fruit cake with some coffee, cacao or carob to round out the flavours sounds a treat. Imagine an afternoon by the warm fire, cup of tea and a generous slice of fruit cake. If you are into scones, well, top up on your flour and baking powder and you are set to go. Leftover scones, grilled/toasted with vegemite for brekky are a treat that I look forward to. Give it a go.
