09.01.2022 ITS OFFICIAL! The Bell family’s contribution to the Kholo area over nearly 150 years has been formally recognised by the renaming of the Brisbane River crossing. It was a pleasure working with Bell family descendants and Council to achieve this outcome.
09.01.2022 It’s Clean Up Australia Day this Sunday 7th March and Councillor James Mackay and I will be doing our bit at Green Hill Reservoir, Chapel Hill between 8am and 10am. Come along and support a great cause and enjoy a coffee on us. If those times don’t suit, you are welcome to help out the Cubberla-Witton Catchments Network’s clean up. The meeting point is in front of the Caltex service station at the Moggill Road snd Marshall Lane intersection.
03.01.2022 Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner and Councillors who attended today’s Lord Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council received valuable feedback on a range of issues and what’s important to them in planning Brisbane’s future. It was great meeting with students representing a number of schools in the western suburbs.
02.01.2022 It was an honour to be scarved up by the Kenmore Scouts last night. I look forward to working with the Scouts going forward and speaking in Council soon about the wonderful opportunities scouting provides to young boys and girls in the local community.
