08.01.2022 Multi trunk or bifurcated trees are a common point for failure and we have seen many failures since the storm. Failures can be prevented by formative pruning a...t a younger age. For semi mature or mature trees, weight reduction, cable bracing or a pruning program can be adapted to minimise the chance of failure in the future. 06.01.2022 Hundreds of Agapanthus dead headed yesterday Not only does it make these hardy plants much more tidy after their summer bloom but without deadheading, the plant goes to seed and the blooming season is shortened considerably!

05.01.2022 Autumn is such a beautiful season of the year! Now we are all at home a lot more I hope everyone is appreciating the little things in life that we often look over everyday? 05.01.2022 REDUCE wildlife destroying your gardens/crops! I’m so excited to be trialling this product with so far great results here in Australia against Kangaroos, rabbits and deer. This UK based company has created a safe and effective product to help keep your plants from being eaten by wildlife. Not yet for sale on shelves here but I’m hoping in the near future we will be able to change that! It’s unfortunate timing to be out sourcing retail outlet stockists but watch this space! If you or anyone you know may be interested in this product please feel free to message for more info. PLEASE SHARE https://m.facebook.com/GrazersFamily/

04.01.2022 Can’t beat the heat!

04.01.2022 Some creepers are in their prime at the moment! Best spend a little time to get them under control before spiders, white ants and other bugs make them selves a home in YOUR home!

03.01.2022 This is so satisfying to watch! I think 90% of Mansfield’s residents need this treatment!

02.01.2022 Thought I’d share this clever technique called ‘air layering’ when pruning this very well producing golden delicious apple tree this year i was lucky enough to be able to savour some branches which will soon be cloned into several other well producing trees. After ring barking the branches and wrapping in soil/peat moss, they will then begin to produce roots giving me an instant tree to re plant.

01.01.2022 Currently I’m in Alabama, USA. I’m experiencing a completely different variety of native plants and weeds. Including the very invasive poison ivy! I was happy to tidy up this little garden at my Grandma’s home.
