24.01.2022 Coaching tip - always set up for inside out forehand and adapt for inside in It is easier for your players to adapt their impact point from an inside out if the...y want to go inside in. There are 3 main ways you can change direction from this position. I’ve put them in order of safety. 1. Change the body position - this is the largest area easiest for players to feel. 2. Change the timing of the arm (swing) in relation to the body. 3. Change the position of the wrist position - unbelievable for disguise but the equivalent of the most sensitive power steering you can imagine. A few millimetres makes a huge difference. The best players are the most effective at disguising as they set up so early and can adapt 1/3 things in a split second. Start with setting up to hit inside out and take it from there. Roger Federer is the master at this. #tennis #tenniscoaching #tennistips #rogerfederer

24.01.2022 Cone call out. Partner calls out which colour cone to pick up and player quickly grabs cone flips it over an tries to catch ball with cone. Try to space the cone out as far as you are capable of. Can be done on your own or for added strength use a medicine ball and simply touch cone and catch medicine ball. Piper here still needs some work #tennis #crisptennis #crisptenniscentre #movement #agilitytraining #tennistraining #skills #fundamentalmotorskills

20.01.2022 I keep telling you guys... you volley with your legs!!!

20.01.2022 Corona virus update: Presently tennis coaching is one of the few sports still allowed to continue as our sport allows for the new social distancing advice. Some measures you can apply yourself is to bring your own drink bottle and racquet, refrain from touching other players etc. With fewer options out there presently to keep your mind and body active we are fortunate to still be able to play and teach the sport we love.

18.01.2022 Kids everywhere having a go at our great sport! #tennis #lovethegame
