18.01.2022 An update of what's new with the CRL It's been a challenging year - but God has once again proven that He's above all our struggles and continued to move in the most amazing ways. We kicked off this year with the 2020 Strength in Weakness Conference - and how awesome was that?!? 2,000 Christians coming together to worship God is something we'll never forget. As we moved our mission online (thank God for technology!) , God has moved beyond all geographical boundaries and ...we have been able to host speakers like Dr Scott Hahn, Fr Leo Patalinghug, Fr Rob Galea, Fr Augustine Vallooran and soon hosting Fr Dave Pivonka! With the launch of our official CRL Australia website, God has opened new doors for us to reach out and minister to our brothers and sisters. Together with the website, we are also transitioning our name from "Community of the Risen Lord" to "Risen Lord Community". It's a slight adjustment for all of us and we hope that it will be easier for you to remember ! We will be re-naming our Facebook and Instagram accounts this week - so keep a look-out for that. Don't worry - we will not change the "CRL" abbreviation - we will still hang on to that one! As always, our mission and ministries still remains the same, and in everything we do, our end goal is to bring the Baptism of the Holy Spirit to the heart of the Catholic Church . You are all in our prayers as we continue on this pilgrim journey together! See more

Your word says in Matthew 5:44 " but I te...ll you love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you and Lord the challenge every day is to love instead of hate, criticise and judge. Lord you based Your kingdom on " love" and most of the time we fall short of the very thing You expect from us. As we reflect on the actions of our Father sending His only son to the earth to die a gruesome death and the suffering You endured for our sake Lord, we are able to love and forgive our enemies. As You were gracious and loving we are able through Your Holy Spirit to be gracious and loving to others. 14.01.2022 #LentenReflection In the gospel today, we see the sons of Zebedee asking for prominent places in the Kingdom, in their quest for greatness. It’s easy to think o...f them as arrogant but the truth is that we all desire for greatness, for significance. And indeed we are created for greatness for we are created in the likeness of God. But here we see Jesus redefining greatness for them and for us. The greatest in the Kingdom must serve the others. As Bill Johnson says, we are to serve with the heart of a king and to rule with the heart of a servant. So this Lenten season lets strive for greatness. Let’s pursue the greatness of the Kingdom as we learn to serve all those around us, just like Jesus so perfectly modelled for us. That no matter what storms may come against us, no matter how strong the winds that... try to beat us down if we remain steadfast in our trust in You, we will be still and victorious through it all. Just like the tree planted next to the waterside, whose roots go deep. The heat, the wind, the storms don’t bother the tree or affect its growth. It states lush and green and fruitful because its nourishment comes from deep within. Lord, I am making a commitment to trust You this season. I will dig my heels in, I will lift my eyes up to You and offer my heart to You in complete surrender. 04.01.2022 #LentenReflection Mercy is when I do not receive the punishment I deserve. Grace is when I receive the blessings and reward I do not deserve. The Holy Spirit te...aches me that the behaviour of a person is not necessarily the tool to judge his/her intentions. The One who alone has access into the depths of our being, will know our heart and our intention. The more I allow The Holy Spirit to awaken my spirit and be united to Him, I receive the capacity to see others through the eyes of my Heavenly Father. Then my response will be based only on the mercy and grace I receive from The Father. I am being taught that the measuring scales of heaven are calibrated by the condition of our heart. I am invited to give with a joyful heart, not counting the cost or loss, but counting the joy it brings to the receiver.
