22.01.2022 Based upon the current advice the CSMLBA Executive have received, and in reviewing the current information from Baseball NSW and the NSW Government, the CSMLBA Executive has reached the very hard decision to fully cancel Round 11 of the competition set down for 20th December 2020. This is primarily based upon our very large playing area, and draw area of our players. The NSW Government has requested that the Greater Sydney Area avoid any unnecessary travel and contact for the next 24-48 hours to assist with contact tracing the recent Northern Beaches outbreak.

19.01.2022 FINALS TIME What a way to start the finals, our Senior League start it up by winning 10-5 against Marlins last night moving forward to play Friday 12th to get into the GrandFinal. Then out of the gates today our Little league Minors Div 1 winning 12-9 against St George and booking a Grand Final spot on 20th March at Bonnet Bay.... Little League Majors played against Bonnet Bay/St Pats but unfortunately went down swinging 3-1 luckily they get another chance to make the finals next week. Junior League Div 1 played Giants winning in a close game 4-3 and playing next week for a place in the grand final. We just want to wish all our teams the best of luck next week. 03.01.2022 ROUND 12 - BACK ON A message from Baseball NSW CEO COVID 19 - Jan 12 Update ... After considerable consultation and feedback from our membership, Baseball NSW is advising that we will be lifting the restriction on those suspended Senior competitions and the scheduled inter-regional programming BNSW were looking to host as noted in the January 7th announcement. This will be effective immediately which will allow games to be played across the Greater Sydney Region and NSW right away. As we hope that you can appreciate, we are in a very unique and dynamic situation where much of the government advice provided has been left open to the discretion of the governing sporting bodies. 01.01.2022 IMPORTANT UPDATE SENIOR COMPETITION UPDATE Unfortunately, Baseball NSW has taken the difficult decision and suspended all Baseball Competitions in the Greater Sydney area until the 18-January-2021, which means the CSMLBA scheduled resumption of play in Round 12 on the 17-January cannot take place.... Below is an extract from the BNSW media release: Baseball NSW are moving in line with the Government’s recommendation to minimize all non-essential travel. As such, clubs are permitted to hold training sessions within their region (within the Greater Sydney basin), with all BNSW sanctioned events (National Showcase) and competitions (State League, Women’s League, PCBL, Metro, Minor League) being suspended until Monday the 18th of January, where a further update will be provided.
