22.01.2022 Behold... the Bayer Innovation Centre at Ellendale, east of Walkaway Given that this site was ravaged by a 12 hour wind storm and buried under an inch of extra dirt, it has recovered to be a great site. The role requires someone capable of working in a close knit team, conducting various herbicide, pesticide, crop nutrition and crop variety testing to a very high standard. The role also requires someone with horticultural research experience working in range of horticultural crops. The job will require some travelling and very occasional overnight stays. A HR drivers license would be required. The successful candidate wi...ll need to be capable of using modern plot seeders, handbooms, Ute mounted boomsprayers and plot harvesters. The job will be based in Geraldton, the central hub of the mid west. A coastal lifestyle with all modern facilities and infrastructure is located only minutes away from agricultural areas. 04.01.2022 Crop Nutrition Research. Today the team was harvesting liquid fertiliser trials for emerging new company Australian Agricultural Commodities.. (AAC). Our crop nutrition trials are done on 90 square metre plots and replicated 4-6 times for maximum treatment effect and quality data.
