18.01.2022 Going Digital In response to the COVID-19 virus, and in order to keep our clients and our staff safe, Cross Cultural Consultants has adjusted our business model and advanced our digital experience. CCC is proud to offer a range of digital solutions, and we are improving the accessibility of our training and extending our reach to support regional and remote areas. Over the next few weeks CCC will have a webinar option up and running for clients, allowing us to facilitate o...nline sessions of small groups. CCC will also continue to deliver our blended learning solutions, substituting face to face workshops with short webinar sessions paired with our current eLearning modules and a whole suite of new modules which are on the horizon. While this is an unprecedented and difficult period for everyone, we need to come together as a community and continue to work and live as normally as possible. As a small business we are worried about what these changes and conditions mean for us but CCC remains hopeful clients will continue to support small business and each other through this time.

18.01.2022 CCC would like to pay our respects and acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the lands on which we work, live and play, the Larrakia (Saltwater) People. We also acknowledge and pay our respects to Elders, past and present, as well as all emerging leaders as Australia’s First Nations Peoples. #inthistogether #nationalreconciliationweek

11.01.2022 Today we remember the past policies of forced child removal and reflect on the sad and painful history of the Stolen Generations. We acknowledge the mistreatment of Australia’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The first National Sorry Day was held on 26 May 1998, one year after the Bringing Them Home report was tabled in Parliament. The Bringing Them Home report is a result of a Government Inquiry into the past policies which caused children to be removed from their families and communities in the 20th century. #StolenGeneration #history #inthistogether

11.01.2022 Tune in to the next Episode of Territory Story to hear from our Director Jason.

07.01.2022 The Bible says cometh the hour cometh the man. Winston Churchill said To each there comes in their lifetime a special moment when they are figuratively tapped on the shoulder and offered the chance. This was especially true for John (Jak) Ah Kit. In a time of intense political change when the politicians of the day were creating negative discussions about the inalienable rights of Aboriginal people to land and control over their resources, Jak, truly a man of the people, fe...lt the tap and stepped up to be counted and support his people. He provided great wisdom and leadership to the growth of the Jawoyn Association and provided invaluable guidance to the establishment of the Joint Management process at Nitmiluk and Kakadu (Gagadju) National Parks. He provided guidance to the Northern Land Council through some very difficult times, and provided a pathway into politics for Aboriginal people. Throughout all the difficult times he never lost his sense of humour and always told it like it was. He will be missed by us all as we struggle to bring to reality the vision he championed. To his family, we offer our sincere condolences and thank you for letting Jak do the work he was put on this Earth to do. From all of us at Cross Cultural Consultants, may you eternally Rest In Peace Jak. See more
