25.01.2022 Its not about ability, its about your mindset and effort. Its about how far you are willing to go, and how often youre willing to go there. When youre willing to regularly show up and put in the effort, thats when the real change happens.

25.01.2022 What’s with all this nasal breathing? Compared to mouth breathing, nasal breathing is a much more energy efficient method of oxidation for metabolising glycolytic byproducts (like lactic acid) during intense exercise. This has the effect of improving VO2 max (the maximum amount of oxygen your body can utilise whilst training), which is essential if we’re chasing faster running times. Another benefit is that breathing through your nose helps remove germs and viruses! This is... because the nasal cavities filter the air that enters the body and produce nitric oxide which has an antiviral effect. Plus, if you don’t blow your nose first you can become a human snot rocket which is pretty cool too.

We want to keep everyone strong and able to jump straight back into the gym, those barbells arent going to squat themselves! ... Knees over toes squats put a great stress and stimulus on quad muscles without the need for weights. Make sure you get after our knee work this week, its not long until were back in the gym
