18.01.2022 Meet another of our amazing Nikki’s. Nikki Hooper has been attending CFGW for a only a few short months with her daughter Chrystal. She is a super mum, proving that nothing is impossible. All whilst doing CrossFit, she completes Ninja Warrior Training and managed to finally climb the warped wall in the midst of this challenge. Our deepest fears are all in our head, and she has proven to absolutely dominate her doubts. She was one of our social butterflies, motivating all of... us the entire way. Putting up her daily physical activity, her weekly meal prep and shopping, as well as things to make us smile. She was a great asset to the challenge and definitely helped pull a lot of us through to the end. Her results were incredible! Having lost 4.1kgs and a 4.5% lowering in body fat, all whilst maintaining muscle! A massive well done goes out to you Nikki. We can’t wait to see what lays in the future for you!

15.01.2022 Losing a whopping 5.3kgs and a 5.8% decrease in body fat, is Aaron! Aaron had no hesitation signing up to our challenge. He has expressed a massive amount of hard work and dedication. All whilst smashing out the meal plans, Aaron has shown great commitment to gym sessions- proven with a muscle gain of 200g in the midst of all that weight loss! 08.01.2022 Here’s another of our pocket rockets! Julieanne jumped on board with our 6 Week Challenge and is a prime example of the scales not being the only dictator of change. She lost 1.1kgs and a total of 1.1% body fat, however do these numbers resemble her physical change? NO! ... We always like to stress the importance of progress pictures, as often we get disheartened when the numbers don’t reflect our hard work. The one take home message we wish for you is to never base your hard work on what the scales, scans, or pictures say. Things like the level of energy being enhanced, lifting heavier at the gym, moving faster in workouts. These are dictators of change! Our girl Julieanne is glowing both in the pictures, and at the gym. A massive well done goes out to you Julz! Keep up the great work.

This prompts us to develop more friendships and remain tentative when talking to someone unaware of their current experiences. For the past four years, our gym has hosted an RUOK Day WOD. Despite tomorrow being smaller to cater for certain circumstances, our values remain the same in regard to this event. We as a community are ...doing our bit to remind you that every day is the day to ask, Are you OK?. Tomorrow we can expect to see a number of friends and family joining our members for a workout and sparking a conversation through fitness. If you know anyone that trains in our gym, be sure to flick them a message and jump in a class. A simple conversation could change a life
