Over 8 years poured into Brisbane's live music scene, with 7000 plus bands on our stages. We've shared thousands of gigs, good times, beers, shots, singalongs, laughs, hugs, tears and triumphs with friends from all around the world. These are trying times for the music and entertainment industries and the future is uncertain for a lot of us, b...ut we hope to be back in Brisbane sometime with a very loud bang. For now, we're still here online and in Sydney. 09.01.2022 To our Crowbar Family, The developments and updates over the weekend and today from Health and Government authorities relating to COVID-19 have left us with multiple cancellations and rescheduling of tours. We stand alongside hundreds of friends losing work, tours and income around the world and while we understand and fully appreciate the advice given to protect the public we do have major concerns for being able to uphold our operating costs as shows cancel and attendance ...drops. In response to the growing risks associated with the spread of COVID-19, we want to take this opportunity to reassure you and share the measures we are taking to protect everyone. Whilst we have always had rigorous health and hygiene practices at our venues, we have implemented some precautionary measures to ensure each venue remains safe and to assist patrons in maintaining personal safety. Public areas are being regularly sanitised with hospital grade air-drying sanitiser. Tables, chairs and surfaces are being sanitised regularly throughout service. Employees have been advised they must stay at home if they are unwell or are showing any symptoms, have recently travelled or had contact with someone who has, and will not be able to return until symptoms subside or tests are completed per government guidelines. With the situation evolving daily it is only natural to retreat and stop doing the things we love such as watching a band, sharing a meal or drink with colleagues, friends and loved ones. That said it is important that we continue to go out and support local businesses whilst it is considered safe to do so - hence we are taking these enhanced steps to give you the confidence to continue visiting us. There will be a slight variation to trading hours with the expected drop in patronage over the coming days. These will be updated daily. Any event cancellations will be updated as we receive them. We appreciate your support during this time, we hope everyone stays healthy and we can all get through this quickly together.

03.01.2022 Dear Crowbar family, It is with great regret we announce the closure of our Sydney and Brisbane locations this week and next. Our first closure in 8 years. We hope to be able to re-open in April but with the frequent changes in government restrictions we're currently unable to put an end date on our closures. This is a very unsettling time for everyone, we want to let you all know we tried to hold onto and build events as best we could. But staff and public safety is paramou...nt and we couldn't continue with the current climate and government recommendations. All event cancellations and rescheduled dates will be announced and ticket holders contacted in the coming days. Our hearts go out to our industry family; our staff, the bands, roadies, FOH, techs, agents, managers, photographers and videographers, artists, designers, labels, suppliers. The list is endless. We have an amazing team of casuals with a variety of skills that we are unable to provide shifts to at this time of closure.
