22.01.2022 Hi ho! Hi ho! It's off to Proserpine we go!!

22.01.2022 Thankyou to our sponsoring club, Crows Nest Lions for having us Thursday evening at their annual changeover held this year at the Hidden Cocina. The food was amazing (tummies definitely full). Congratulations to Liam and Kale who received encouragement awards as recognition of the wonderful work they have displayed since the clubs inception. A further congrats to Leo Advisor Rani and President Sebastian who were presented with the clubs Lion of the Year awards. A successful night all round.

21.01.2022 April is Leo awareness month... today we utilized Easter and spreading cheer while breaking out of the confines of isolation to do a community service and our essential groceries, chemist and bread run. Hope we brought some Easter cheer. Take care and stay healthy.

21.01.2022 What do we do in quarantine? It was decided by the team that we wanted to give back to one of the many groups in our community and to say thankyou. It was decided that a shout out to the staff @ QLD Health Covid-19 testing centre in Twba would be a great start. Sooo... some Easter goodies were bought and packed (after some major hand washing, sanitizing and sterilized tongs) placed in Easter bags, with beautiful Easter cards designed by two of our talented Leos and were dropped off this morning by the Pyers trio before doing their essential shopping on the way home. We so hope they feel appreciated and have brought some smiles to some tired and weary souls at this crazy time.

13.01.2022 So yesterday was a very important day; the Crowfields Leo Club Charter celebration! After our guest speakers including District Govenor Lion Carmel Goldsworthy and PDG and District Leo Chairman Des Sawyer spoke, the club was presented our Certificate of Organisation and Banner to signify the opening of the club. We then presented each member a certificate, badges and cap to signify their membership. A special mention goes to our Leo Club President Sebastian Pyers who receive...d the Certificate of Appreciation from the Lions International President and the District Govenor Carmel Goldsworthys Pin. Though these may not seem a lot, in the World of Lions International, these are two major acknowledgments and recognition. We would like to thank all of our special guests, families and friends for attending. Without you the club would not be where we are today. Please enjoy photos from the official celebrations and our strictly Leos Only Dress Up party!

07.01.2022 We are very excited to announce that we have been able to complete our first donation ever! We are so excited to have had the opportunity to donate money to Camp Kanga and we hope that it will allow them to continue running some of their amazing programs. Please excuse the outfits! For those who are not aware, part of the Queensland State Leo Conference has a theme night. This years theme was Survivor! Our President Leo Tayla and Treasurer Leo Sebastian were dressed as wayward sailors needing to use their old sails for clothing! This is just some of the fun we get up to.

03.01.2022 How to spread Easter joy when in quarantine? The Crowfields Leos decided in their first online meeting that we needed to spread some joy and thank our local businesses for staying open during this strange world we are now in. With all of the planning done online and the Pyers Trio completing the packing, we were able to get all of our Easter goodies out to our local shops. We are sorry that we couldnt give one to every business, as the budget was a bit tight, but we hope tha...t we were able to spread some cheer. Rani, Sebastian, Kale, Travis, Liam, Lilly, Bella, Tayla and Jess would like to thank and recognise all of our local businesses and services for being open and supporting our little Crows Nest during this time. Happy Easter and enjoy your lovely 4-day weekend!

03.01.2022 A huge thankyou to our amazing PCCN for helping us financially to fly to state Leo convention in Proserpine this year!! So excited... care packages packed...check!! Germ busting oils and hand sanitizer, tissues, ear plugs...check check check.

03.01.2022 Leo Convention - Update 2 Friday 16th March saw the Leos heading from Garnet to Yeppoon! After spending the morning with Ricky, Kerrie, Leslie and Ginny we headed out for a long-winded drive through Rockhampton to Yeppoon. After unsuccessfully trying to look out over Rockhampton on Mt Acher we headed to the Keppel Bay Surf Club for lunch.... We spent the most of the afternoon at Keppel Bay waiting for registrations to open at 3pm. Once we got to the actual Convention, we enjoyed many games including cricket, the taco game, the oreo game and more! Dinner was had, some time at the beach and the beginning of making friends occurred all resulting in us crashing once hitting the sack. Till the next update!
