17.01.2022 Queensland government digging a grave for the Reef and sentencing our kids to climate catastrophe. Adani's and other fossil fuel interests have ALP and the Coalition in a stranglehold that makes them no better than organised crime. #stopadani
16.01.2022 75% of Australians understand the catastrophic risk of climate change. So why is our government still addicted to coal?
16.01.2022 Global wind industry leader says Aus could be one of the "greenest countries" by building wind turbines locally as VIC gets ready to smash the Victorian Renewa...ble Energy Targets. With VIC home to Australia's only wind manufacturer, Keppel Prince in Portland, there is big potential for securing sustainable jobs in our state. By prioritising local jobs and manufacturing in the VRET the Daniel Andrews govt can generate the greatest local benefits. All parties can support renewables: Opp. Leader Matthew Guy, Shadow Renewables Minister David Southwick and South-West Coast Member Roma Britnell MP can show support for renewable jobs & investment by supporting the VRET. Simple. Agree? Email the Opp. Leader today > http://www.melbourne.foe.org.au/vret_secured

12.01.2022 The second Community Forum regarding Child Sex Abuse in Bathurst will be next Wednesday 17th May 2017, 6.30pm to 8.30pm at the Bathurst Entertainment Centre. D...espite our requests, the Royal Commission have refused to have a case study, including public hearings into abuse in the Bathurst area, notably at St Stanislaus. St Stanislaus have also announced they will be issuing an apology to victims of priests at that school on the 16th June - this is despite little to no communication with survivors of abuse or their families. We will be coming together to hear from speakers including crusading journalist Joanne McCarthy, representatives of survivors organisation and survivors of abuse and their families. Please join us to hear what we can do from here, and how to get justice for victims of child sexual abuse in Bathurst.
