23.01.2022 Midland Detectives are seeking public assistance with their investigation into an aggravated burglary that occurred at a home in High Wycombe on Thursday, 5 November 2020. Around 1.45am two men, with their faces covered, forced entry into a home on Chullwyne Mews and were confronted by the occupants, a 65-year-old woman and a 75-year-old man. One of the offenders sprayed pepper-spray in the woman’s face and assaulted her causing a serious head injury (bleeding on the brain). ... Both victims have been traumatised by the incident. The offenders stole various items including some jewellery before fleeing the home. The investigation is ongoing and Detectives wish to speak to several people who were seen in the area of the Ollie Worrell Reserve around the time of the incident, who they believe have information which can assist them. The people are: A man on a skateboard with a guitar; Two males riding bicycles towards Ollie Worrell Reserve; and The driver of a dark coloured sedan that was seen driving along Worrell Avenue. 17.01.2022 Police hold concerns for the welfare of 65-year-old Thomas ‘Eddie’ POWER who was last seen on 5 November 2020, at Fiona Stanley Hospital after receiving medical... treatment. Eddie usually resides in North Lake however, he is known to frequent the Mandurah area. Eddie is described as 170 cm, slim build, green eyes, light brown hair and has several tattoos on both forearms. He is believed to be travelling on foot and it is not known what clothing Eddie is wearing. If any person has seen Eddie or has any information as to his current whereabouts please contact Police on 131444 (reference IR 131120 1000 16896).



17.01.2022 Here is an important update in relation to the incident in Midland earlier this week in which a 72-year-old man was assaulted. Midland Detectives have charged a 36-year-old man and he has been refused bail.

16.01.2022 UPDATE: Back in Dec '19, Ellenbrook Police #PIT executed a Misuse of Drugs Act search warrant in Aveley, after info was provided to #CrimeStoppers. 12.01.2022 Midland Detectives are investigating a reported traffic crash that occurred on Tuesday 27 October 2020. Around 1:45pm, a member of public reported hearing a lou...d noise, in the area of Old Perth Road, Bassendean. It is understood this noise was a result of a traffic crash between two vehicles. It was reported to police that the occupants of the two vehicles were involved in an altercation after the crash, before both parties left the area. Detectives are also investigating a report that suggests a replica firearm may have been involved during the altercation. 12.01.2022 Traffic Enforcement Group North officers are investigating a serious crash that occurred in Bellevue on Thursday the 29th of October 2020. Just after 1.50pm, a Honda motorcycle travelling west on Great Eastern Highway collided with a grey Nissan traveling east on Great Eastern Highway, at the intersection of Robinson Road. The motorcycle rider, a 61-year-old man, was conveyed by ambulance to the Royal Perth hospital with serious injuries.... 07.01.2022 WA Police are investigating an incident involving an explosion which occurred at about 4:30pm on Sunday 22/Nov/2020 at the toilet block in Belrose Park, Kallaro...o. Three male youths were seen running from the area of the blast shortly after the incident. Police are concerned for the welfare of the youths given the nature of the explosion and possibility for immediate burn and/or blast injuries or potential for ongoing inhalation/respiratory type injuries. 05.01.2022 Major Crash Investigators are seeking information regarding a fatal crash in Malaga yesterday afternoon, Saturday 24 October 2020. About 4:50pm a Ford hot rod was being driven around a commercial/industrial estate in Malaga. It is believed the vehicle was being worked on by the driver and passenger, and was being taken for a test drive. While being driven on Denninup Way the vehicle left the road and struck a tree.... The driver, a 59-year-old man from Ballajura, was trapped in the vehicle and was cut free by Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel. He was taken to Royal Perth Hospital by St John Ambulance, where he died. The passenger, also a 59-year-old man, received minor injuries and was also taken to Royal Perth Hospital by St John Ambulance. 02.01.2022 Major Crash Investigation Squad officers are seeking information regarding a fatal crash that occurred in Beechboro yesterday afternoon, Tuesday 17 November 2020. About 4:00pm, a Ford Ranger utility and a BMW motorcycle collided in the south bound lanes of Altone Road, between Amazon Drive and Benara Road. The rider of the motorcycle, a 58-year-old man, died at the scene. ... The female driver of the Ford Ranger was not injured. 02.01.2022 A ‘Cocina Reforzada’ cast Iron black and gold wood oven approximately 1200 x 900 x 600 mm, was stolen during a burglary in Chidlow sometime between 01 and 19 October 2020. Offenders have forced entry via a rear sliding door and dragged the oven from the premises. The oven is believed to an antique and valued at approximately $20,000.
