16.01.2022 The team at the newly redeveloped CRU Lake Mac Camp & Conference Centre is seeking a Guest Services / Concierge! They will be responsible for ensuring campers and guests have a positive stay at CRU Lake Mac through assisting with the coordination of pre-bookings and post-bookings and responding to guest requirements during their stay, as required. As part of the CRU Lake Mac team, the Properties Assistant works to ensure the presentation of the site/centre and the readiness of the facilities and activities for our guests. As a Properties Assistant (casual), you will be involved in a variety of activities including... - Maintenance and preparation of camp facilities, buildings and activities to ensure that the campsite is well presented and usable and safe at all times. - General maintenance of the sites boat fleet (both powered and unpowered) and associated infrastructure. - General maintenance and upkeep of activity equipment, such as climbing tower, log roll, mission impossible and the like. - General maintenance and upkeep of the bushland and bivouac site. - Upkeep and operation of security systems across all areas of the site (Lakeside, staging area and bush side). - Ground keeping duties including lawn mowing, gardening, maintenance of bushwalking tracks and management of swimming pool (when built). - Repairs and maintenance tasks such as basic plumbing, painting, carpentry. - Procuring site consumables and equipment. - Support of all water activities (re-fuel safety boats, repair sailboats and sails). - Supporting other areas of operation as required. The following criteria are considered necessary for this position: - Full agreement with CRU’s ‘Basis of Belief’ and its practical out-workings. - Competent skills and experience in maintaining buildings, grounds, and activity areas. - Ability to work in both a team and independently. - Hold a current drivers’ licence (manual). - Be able to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and supervisors. - A commitment to seeking excellence in all tasks. - Possess a positive attitude, an enthusiastic work ethic with a desire to serve others. - The ability to ‘see’ the site from a guest perspective. - A friendly and approachable demeanour with excellent personal presentation. - Appropriate health and fitness to carry out all duties in a safe and efficient manner. The following criteria are desirable, but not essential: - Have good and flexible availability. - Certificates of competency in the operation of chain saws, working at heights, welding, tag and test and boat license.
