25.01.2022 Thank you everyone for a fantastic event this morning! Congratulations to our 35 first timers and 47 PB'ers including Emma who did her first sub-23 minute Kedron parkrun today! Thank you also to all our volunteers today, with a special congratulations also to Ada who helped us out with her 100th volunteering day. Our volunteering roster is looking very bare for the next several weeks so please help us out by sending us an email or message and volunteering. It's a great time, ...and we all really appreciate your time! Looking forward to seeing you all next week! We have some photos up now, with more to follow later in the day. Kedron parkrun Event number 205 14th March 2020 This week 252 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 35 were first timers and 47 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 14 different clubs took part. 20.01.2022 To all our wonderful Parkrunners! We aren't sure yet what the weekend holds for us, but we're going to be optimistic and plan to see everyone for a great Easter run or walk down along the brook. This week also happens to be Kedron Parkrun's 5th birthday!! We missed our 4th birthday last year, so we really hope everyone can come out & celebrate with us this weekend! We can't organise many festivities unfortunately, but to help with some birthday cheer, we would love everyone t...o come wearing their loudest, most colourful kit! We are still quite low on volunteers this week, and we will need at least another 6 volunteers in various roles to make sure we can celebrate in style. Please contact us if you can help. 20.01.2022 Event number 211 2nd January 2021 Great turn out this morning for our first parkrun of the year!... A little steamy and hot, but we all seemed to have a good time once we crossed the finish line So, this week 258 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 41 were first timers and 22 recorded new Personal Bests. 18.01.2022 Woop! 5 more sleeps! We just wanted to highlight an important point in our Walker and Runner Code. So, when you finish, the scanning of finish tokens and personal barcodes must be entirely contactless and at a distance, with participants holding their own position and personal barcodes, then depositing their position token in a bucket after they have been scanned.... We will provide mulitple buckets that you can pop them in and off you go! The barcode scanners will remind you of this process on the day, but hopefully this will avoid some confusion. 10.01.2022 Happy Tuesday! So, in order to maximise the available space for our pre run brief and barcode scanning we have decided to shift it a little further up beyond the large tree next to the start line. This is a much bigger area and will ensure all participants, volunteers, and spectators are able to socially distance prior to the event. In regards to the pre run brief itself this will now be limited to 2 minutes to minimise the amount of time participants spend in proximity to e...ach other. Once that is done we will direct to you to the start line and will get you on your way as soon as we can! Please note the start and finish line will remain the same.
