25.01.2022 A bit of photo restoration. I had a WW2 pilot drop in a very badly faded photo of him landing a plane on a bush runway. It had been hanging in his apartment on the Gold Coast with direct sunlight for a number of years. The picture was removed from the frame scanned and the image retouched to add back the colour and vibrancy. It was then printed on archival photo paper and framed in a slate frame with ash mat. To help preserve for the future UV glass was also used in the new frame. Two pictures attached before and after
