25.01.2022 It's raining Ringtails, most too tiny to save but I have to try. 4 of them needing formula every 4 hours 24/7. Getting harder as I get older. Some dog bites some raven attacks some pouch joeys found on ground in winter conditions

25.01.2022 Rosella chick day 2 hopefully can be saved

24.01.2022 Beautiful brushtail joey Xena who came in as 170 gram brushtail velvet furred joey is battling on.

24.01.2022 Tiny chicks brought in yesterday. With the storm the night before their nest was nowhere near a tree, the winds were horrendous it's a miracle they survived.

22.01.2022 The Shelducklings and Black Pacific duckling were released at the beautiful Panorama Gardens today, thank you Annemaree such a beautiful place for a release.

22.01.2022 The Shelduck ducklings are growing so fast, plus the one Pacific Black duckling

21.01.2022 Magpie chick has greenstick fracture, vet has splinted leg. I have him in a sling at the moment but not sure if he is viable. If he is unable to walk I will not let him suffer many Magpie chicks are born with a calcium deficiency due to the parent birds being fed meat but no added calcium.

21.01.2022 Juvenile Swan not sure what is wrong yet, will be taking to vet.

21.01.2022 This what my 7 Shelduck ducklings will look like when they are mature, nature's works of art.

19.01.2022 Ringtail joey Miracle saved from a dog. She came in with severely swollen head, one eye closed and patches of fur missing. She is now fully recovered.

19.01.2022 Two beautiful brushtail joeys also came in today plus 70 gram Ringtail

18.01.2022 Incoming today 2 ringtail joeys, brushtail joey in photo, I had to cut her out of dead mom's pouch, magpie chick, adult Crimson Rosella.

17.01.2022 The special ducklings grooming. If anyone has a proper feather duster they can give that will be perfect. As you can see they gather on my sheep wool duster and it's very hard to find genuine feather dusters now.

15.01.2022 Rainbow Lorikeet juvenile that came in with severe concussion. I think he is fading, going in and out of consciousness. Also today needed to get a dove with broken leg PTS. Then the 3 tiny Rosella chick's died. Being a wildlife carer isn't easy.

14.01.2022 Thank you so much to those of you who have donated via my gofundme and Bendigo Bank. Your donations help me to keep on going especially in this busy time of year. All at once I have had to purchase more Divetalac, Lectade, Lorikeet and Honeyeater mix, Insectivore, it all adds up. Also thanks to ARC for the boxes of medical supplies, pouches etc also to Australian Animal Rescue and Andrew who has taken over Stinky's Pet Shop in Rosebud which will be reopening soon, also the wonderful Michelle Bryant.

14.01.2022 Tiny Ringtail joey

12.01.2022 Had in today a Pacific Black duckling that Ranger Max brought in. As ducklings do not survive on their own I put him in with the Shelducks, there was some pecking at first but now they are all getting on well. In the photo you can't see him as he is surrounded by the Shelducks.

12.01.2022 This 160 gram ringtail joey was rescued from a cat. She has several wounds. She will need daily antibiotic injections but as cat bites and scratches are so toxic she still may not survive please keep your cats contained, they torture wildlife.

11.01.2022 Ringtail juvenile with terrible wounds, looks like dog attack, may not survive if internal injuries. Giving pain medication. See how he goes, will not let him suffer but need to give him a chance.

11.01.2022 Sugargliders are so sweet (pun intended)

11.01.2022 Orphan Eastern Rosella chick, parents not found

10.01.2022 One of the two new brushtail joeys enjoying a blueberry. Btw the voice in the background is my Eclectus parrot Chantal.

10.01.2022 Brushtail possum

10.01.2022 Tawny Frogmouth chick I reared a few years ago, his first flight to the kitchen sink, I was so very proud.

10.01.2022 There are actually 3 Ringtail orphans in this nest pouch. Yesterday was called out to 9 Ringtails, the 3 adults couldn't be saved, 6 tiny joeys are in care. Three were triplets which is rare as they normally have twins. The triplets are being cared for by registered wildlife carer Andrew Lockheart who has bought Stinkys Pet Shop in Rosebud. When Andrew reopens he will give discounts to wildlife carers, he is passionate about wildlife.

09.01.2022 Such a hard day, firstly had in an minor chick, then a call out to a pelican at Rosebud, stupid people taking selfies with the poor bird. With help from John, April and Ian we eventually captured the peli took to vet for Xrays as he had a droopy wing. No breaks so he is back here and will be giving antibiotics just to be sure. Older juvenile.

06.01.2022 Pelican in care.

06.01.2022 He was found lying near his mom who had been torn to pieces, he was very traumatised but recovered to eventually be successfully released

05.01.2022 This is what the Shelduck ducklings will look like when fully grown, so beautiful

04.01.2022 Little Blaze Ringtail joey orphan

03.01.2022 Injured bluetongue, trauma to head and loss of end of tail. He has been administered antibiotics.

01.01.2022 Grey Headed flying fox caught up in netting, successfully rehabilitated and released.

01.01.2022 Shelduck ducklings saved from raven attack and taken to Main Ridge Vet, very cute and the adults are beautiful.
