20.01.2022 [] [Statement from the Cantonese Student Association of The University of Western Australia on the Hong Kong Police Force's collaboration with triad gangs] 999... Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF) showed their hideous true colors to the world in the recent demonstrations against extradition law. They are still showing no regard to the laws of Hong Kong and the human rights of its people: reluctant attitude on displaying warrant card as demanded by the Police General Orders, confiscated citizens properties without reason, struck people with batons and shields, even fired shots on the people and the press in close-range. Moreover, when the bloodthirsty thugs in white shirts were attacking civilians in Yuen Long, the HKPF did not only tolerate their actions, but also refused to answer the emergency calls and even turned a blind eye . Hongkongers will neither tolerate nor bow down to the violent acts from both the police and the triads.
