19.01.2022 More data = better monitoring Support has been added in the latest release of Perception Transformer monitoring software for GEs Multilin 845 transformer protection relays running firmware version 1.7 or later. Combining the 845 GE Multilin with Perception software gives you the best of both worlds - top of the line protection and the best ability to use the data/readings to make key decisions.... Perception currently supports the download and visualisation of the specific data available via Network media and MODBUS protocol for data download. The 845 relay can be added as a child of the transformer allowing users to compare the results of DGA and Lab Data against relay measurements and events using the transformer worksheets. 17.01.2022 Who doesnt love a good before and after? Check out a recent VSD upgrade completed for one of our valued mining customers. Nick from our Technical Services team attended site last week to replace a ToyoDenki VSD with a new Fuji Low Voltage 160kW VSD MEGA Drive for use in a pumping application. This upgrade continues the phasing out of all non-Fuji drives onsite and allows the customer to consolidate spares in their already busy store. Fuji drives have been selected as the ...site standard due to their reliability, features and after sales support. The Fuji MEGA drive was installed in less than a day and sold with our market leading 3-year warranty to boot! This video runs for quite a while showing all three levels of the tower destroyed. When the two lower lines fall to the ground it shows how fires can be started by falling live power lines.
