I just wanted to check in and give you all a little update on our sweet little addition Tully Imogen She is 8 weeks already the time is flying by like alot of you said it would so Im cherishing every moment! We are settling in nicely to family life and I still have a little bit more time at home before venturing back into white sage!... But I can tell you all now I will be soooo excited to see you and a have to say a massive thank you for the continued support we have received since reopening our doors. 20.01.2022 Hi lovelies! How is everyone? Hopefully youre all well and feeling a little bit lighter as we start to shift towards our new normal. Self care is always important and even more so at the moment. The beauty of self care is it can be as simple as a diffuser of your favourite oils or as elaborate as a little picnic in your garden with your loved ones! There is no right or wrong, its just a matter of doing what feels good for you.... One of my little self care rituals has been applying the gorgeous Remedy as a sleep mask! I find sleep on easier and less time consuming as my two little people keep me pretty busy! If I want to take it up a notch I concentrate on massaging it in for a few minutes! Its beautifully nourishing for dry skin and also supports healing! Some days do require a more considered effort to achieve self care. I always feel lighter the next day as Ive done something for me and my skin loves it too. Im guessing all our beautiful followers would feel the same?! Upgrade, get clear and really focus on what is you want or want to manifest. We get busy, we get messy... so sit tonight in peace and quiet with a herbal tea or a sneaky wine and get real with what it is you want moving forward. Be bold, and it tell it how it is. Once you have written your deepest desires and dreams down on paper you then place the paper out in the moonlight. Whats next... Hang the piece of paper on the clothes line, sit it on your outdoor table or any where that is visible to soak up those beautiful moon rays!! Then wait to see what magic may unfold 2020 has been a pretty f***ked up year for most but it aint over yet and you certainly dont need that new year, new me bull shit to start planning what it is you truly want!! Be brave and you may surprise yourself when you finally put pen to paper

We are working on a plan for moving forward so that we can keep you, our gorgeous clients, our therapists and salon safe. 18.01.2022 Our resident skin Queen Lucy fresh faced and revealing it all Luce has been on her own skin journey this year suffering from peri oral dermatitis for the first part of the year and for the first time in her life! 18.01.2022 TIME TO GET THE CALENDAR OUT LADIES We are so thrilled to let you know that our online bookings are now open for the 15th of JUNE! We have missed you all so much and cannot wait to welcome you all back into White Sage. ... As we settle back in there are a few house keeping rules we have introduced to make sure you feel super safe when you come to visit us again and while we adjust to our new guidelines... Opening hours will be 10-5 Monday to Friday and Saturday 9-2 (this will be reassessed on a monthly basis) We will be working by appointment only, if you need to pick up a product or voucher you will need to contact us firstly to arrange a suitable time or we can post if needed! All appointments have been allocated more time to ensure that we can do a thorough room change over and to minimise on clients overlapping in the salon. Appointments must be attended alone so unfortunately little ones will no longer be able to come in with you for your appointment. We will only be accepting card payments or bank transfers, no cash will be accepted at this time. There will be sanitising stations set up throughout the salon and we have strict hygiene practices in place for our team also. 07.01.2022 Take it to your tits Did you know how important it is to make sure that you look after the skin on your neck and decolletage? It is an area that gets forgotten about when it comes to our skincare regime but it is also highly exposed to skin aggressors like UVA/UVB rays causing pigmentation and free radical damage. Also we tend to spray our perfume directly onto our chests (are you guilty of this?!) which is highly inflammatory and barrier disruptive due to the ingredients... found in perfume it can also cause discolouration!!! (skin tip: always spray on your clothes or look for more natural scents like essential oils!). It is also an area that is highly visible so if youre looking after your face but not your neck and deck, the chances are that you will start to see the signs of premature ageing here first while the skin on your face is radiating a healthy, youthful glow still! 02.01.2022 Oh my Spent sometime in here today with my amazing hubby getting our beautiful haven ready for the doors to reopen next Monday (June 15th) CAN I GET A HELL YEAH. The last couple of months have been pretty hectic Im not going to lie, navigating Covid and also welcoming our beautiful daughter into the world mid pandemic haha! So much uncertainty, so many highs and lows but I am so happy that there is light at the end of the tunnel, although we arent completely out of the... woods yet! Being back in here today though had me reflecting on what white sage is for me and what I want it to be for all of you! The biggest thing I love about my work is the ability that we have as therapists to really deliver an experience not just a run of the mill service and I bloody love to nurture people it brings me so much joy as it does for my amazing team! We are all so busy (although alot of of us had to press the pause button recently.) so to be able to take care of you and provide a space for total relaxation is truly something for us worth showing up for every day! We plan on coming back better than before! Not with a whole heap of new shiny things but with a clearer sense of purpose in how we can provide you with a blissful experience everytime you come to see us, and how important this truly is. 01.01.2022 SKIN TIP TUESDAY Do you exfoliate your skin? If so its important to consider the type of exfoliant you are using and also that youre not over doing it! ... Something I see regularly when consulting with clients on their skincare is to many products in their regime contain exfoliating ingredients like AHA/BHAs and using them daily. Yes your skin is going to feel good after exfoliating, yes it will look better in the short term. BUT long term you are causing more damage than good as you are stripping your skins natural protective layer which then leaves your skin defense less against external aggressors like UV rays and bacteria. Also when your barrier is impaired like this it can increase your sensitivity to certain products as the ingredients have the ability to absorb to quickly therefore over exciting your cells causing inflammation or irritation (redness, flaky skin, puffiness etc) Our preference is using an enzyme exfoliant as they are more gentle on the skin. Also limiting the amount you exfoliate to once or twice a week Exfoliation product LOVE: Our delicious cranberry enzyme firming mask removes damaged cells, infuses the skin with antioxidants and leaves your skin with a visibly smoother and firmer healthy glow. Unlike granula exfoliants and facial scrubs on the market which can cause irritation and over exfoliation, polish works gently using fruit enzymes to remove dead skin without causing trauma. Our Tip: Apply a small amount to freshly cleansed skin before getting into the shower. The steam will help activate the enzyme component giving you a more powerful result! : @osmosis.nz
