03.01.2022 To All The Lakers Out There, As 2020 comes to a close, I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support throughout a year that hopefully no one has to endure again. Through tough times, you learn a lot about the people around you and more so, yourself. The Lakers committee had a common goal to ensure our great club remained viable and welcoming to all. Thanks to their deduction to the cause and with the support of you our members and sponsors, we appro...ach the new year with optimism and excitement on and off the field. Like many other community sporting clubs, 2021 will be vital in securing our long term financial stability. Saying that, I believe that the framework we’ve been able to put in place in recent years has provided us with a platform to launch into the new season positively and with confidence. We all have kids at the Lakers and TOGETHER we will ensure that CSFC is a perfect vehicle for them to interact, educate and be educated, and be a welcoming environment for all. 2021 will be our biggest year yet. Newly built facilities, Laker events for all (with a big day planned to welcome all the kids back to footy in late January, details to be announced shortly), new social membership tiers to be released, and a celebration of our first 10 years of Senior Football. So thanks again to the Laker Nation out there. Committee members, players, families, friends and our business partners. We have all endured one hell of a year individually and collectively.
