24.01.2022 A truly worthwhile workshop to raise awareness for mental health and wellbeing and to help guide our club towards keeping in touch with the Bulls family.

24.01.2022 A little bit of rugby and a spot of Christmas shopping perhaps? This is for any 7-11 year olds, not just registered players. There won’t be a Charters Towers holiday clinic these holidays. If you have questions please ring 47289099.

23.01.2022 Last home game on August 1, we welcomed a special visitor and his lovely wife back to his stomping ground. Hope you enjoyed coming home as much as we enjoyed your visit John White!

20.01.2022 Club results and players of each team for the past 2 weeks

20.01.2022 John Fry remains a part of the fabric of our club and community. Loved by many and respected by more. The legend lives on. His ‘no worries’ attitude is one we can all aspire to.

19.01.2022 Thanks to what is left of our fantastic local paper!

18.01.2022 Thanks to The Northern Miner Charters Towers for keeping our game in the news!

18.01.2022 Ian Martineau and his son James returned to reminisce at Dave Thomas Oval today - welcome back to another original Bull, see you in 2021 for Reunion celebrations

16.01.2022 Thanks The Northern Miner Charters Towers and Townsville Bulletin

12.01.2022 The advert says 8 - 11s but they’ve assured me that 6 and 7 year olds are welcome to register as well. What a fun way to consolidate a shortened rugby season for our younger players. Coaches are welcome to come along and get some new ideas.

12.01.2022 Always, always need refs for home games especially. We need to support and promote our own. Our whole rugby family needs to value the men and women in green because without them it’s near impossible to play a game. Now is the time to take the next step to becoming a ref.

11.01.2022 After a long break in our season we are excited to return to play with home games this weekend. These times may change marginally keep an eye on this space. If you are coming to Dave Thomas Oval this weekend please follow all the Covid-19 protocols. DON’T COME IF YOU ARE UNWELL. Wash or sanitise your hands often. Sign in and out using the ‘Eva Checkin’ code that will be displayed or manually in the register. ... Maintain social distancing. Enjoy the Rugby! See more

11.01.2022 24 August 2020 As we are all aware COVID 19 is getting a spread on in Queensland. We do have hospitalised cases in Townsville. We don’t know who we are mixing with and where they have been. Therefore there is an increased risk for all of us. We are able to operate (train and play) under an industry approved plan. We must follow our plan if we want to keep COVID 19 out of our community. ... It’s important that you get tested if you have any symptoms and isolate yourself until you have the results. We must sanitise our hands and our training gear. Do not share water bottles. Do not drink out of the taps at training. Keep social distancing as best you can. SIGNING IN EVERYONE apart from players, coaches and managers attending training and Walla sessions could you please sign in. The Eva Check In codes are all around the clubhouse. We must keep a record of who is at our grounds. DO NOT ATTEND THE GROUNDS IF YOU ARE UNWELL.

09.01.2022 We've joined forces with the Australian Sports Foundation and created a Project development fundraiser so that we can establish a 2nd field so that our little club can grow into the future. Your donations will be tax deductible and our club will be forever grateful for your contribution. https://asf.org.au/donate/ctrufc-facility-development-fund/

08.01.2022 Be kind to our refs, you never know whose child they might be. And if we love the game we need them. That’s why they are there too - they like the same game.

04.01.2022 If anyone who has taken part in Onè’s workshops is keen to do this get in touch with Rugby Skills Academy ASAP

01.01.2022 Just a reminder the AGM is today at 10am, see you there!
