25.01.2022 These @cubbyhousecanteen cookie boxes literally flew out the door last week! We HAVE to do more (even though the café is currently closed) because they are just perfect for cheering people up, thanking people, wishing people a happy birthday, welcoming new babies, treating teachers, nurses and doctors and of course celebrating Easter. Each box contains 6 custom gingerbread cookies and is $35. NARELLE and I will be hand delivering these bespoke boxes for FREE this weekend so please get in touch ASAP if you’re keen to treat someone to a box of absolute cookie goodness. 22.01.2022 This is not goodbye FOREVER, this is goodbye FOR NOW !! We will be CLOSING this lid indefinitely, on our ‘baby’ in the park @cubbyhousecanteen THIS SUNDAY at 4pm. This is a picture of our other ‘baby’ riding her bike in the park today with her Dad. See the slogan on her jumper- it reads ‘she is the future’.. and we would really like for that to be the case. Very moving to hear a variety of instruments reciting the Last Post in neighbouring streets. We are so thankful. 18.01.2022 This is Matthew Zagami. We have known Matt and his family for 41 years. Bec went to Kindergarten with him. As soon as we saw this footage aired on the ABC...we knew we had to help. They’ve lost everything in the East Gippsland Bushfires. Matt and his wife Katie have four children. To see someone you know and love hurting so much-is utterly devastating. 01.01.2022 You can’t get rid of us that easy!!! That’s right @cubbyhousecanteen will RE-OPEN for business from this THURSDAY the 16th of APRIL. We want to do this carefully though, ensuring that the safety of our STAFF and CUSTOMERS is paramount.... therefore-we will be entirely cashless, takeaway only obvs and would encourage customers to call ahead to minimise waiting around times. SOCIAL DISTANCING is an absolute must and we ask our community to be aware of others around them always.... Our DAYS of OPERATION will be the same; WED-SUN however our hours will be slightly shorter; 8am-2pm.
