12.01.2022 GLOBAL IMPACT When I first thought about venturing into a business, the first thing I asked myself was how will my business impact others? Now, for all you tea lovers out there, a cup of hot tea does wonders for the soul, right?? But I want Cup + Spoon to do more than make you feel good after drinking from our beautiful cups and mugs (although that’s also a goal ). I want this business to impact the underprivileged, the voiceless, the outcast and the unlovables aro...und the world So we have partnered with our first project called Life House. Life House is a safe haven for pregnant women in South East Asia, who have been shamed from their families and community due to the pregnancy These women are literally cast out from their homes in shame and left to survive on their own Life House is there to help. They provide a safe pace to live, prenatal care, postnatal care, parenting skills, life skills, love, kindness, job skills and most importantly, hope. They have a hope for their future and the future of their child. A chance to make a way for themselves and to make choices based on what they want, not what others want. We are so proud to be partnering with Life House and helping these women find a new life. There will be more information on the website when we launch.
