24.01.2022 What a crazy time it is with the Coronavirus and restrictions on weddings. I am still taking bookings for weddings. However, no face to face meetings. Notice of Intended Marriage can be completed by the couple and their signatures can be witnessed by a police officer, medical practitioners or JP. It can then be emailed to me with copies of your birth certificate OR passport, plus photo ID. I will need your original Notice and see other original documents before your wedding. Everything can be done by email, phone or FaceTime. It is not an easy process to become a Marriage Celebrant but well worth it if you love what you do. Thank you again to those who were referees and addressing the question below. Those who offered to write a referee report for me need to cover:... The report must address EACH of the following: -Length and nature of the referees relationship with you -My commitment to the central importance of the institution of marriage in society -my knowledge of the availability of relationship support services in my region -my commitment to advising couples about the availability of relationship support services in my region -my standing in the community(including my involvement in the -community through professional and volunteer activities -My personal integrity and ethical standards -The referees knowledge of any other qualities or attributes that you have that would support my application as a marriage.
