01.01.2022 As of 1 July 2016, people with type 2 diabetes who are not insulin dependant were provided with subsidised blood glucose test strips for a six month period thro...ugh the NDSS. The initial six months will come to an end on 1 January 2017; however, access to subsidised strips can continue if authorised as clinically necessary by a health professional.
