05.01.2022 Indo-Chinese Cuisine This cuisine has an interesting history behind it, this is not a brain child of any Indian chef who tried to do the fusion of two different cuisines. This was in fact created by Chinese tribals who migrated to India in 18th century. Apparently most of them belonged to Hakka tribe. Hence we see a popular dish Hakka Noodles. These Chinese closely observed and incorporated local spices and herbs into their own cooking hence creating what we call today I...ndo-Chinese cuisine, which has a unique blend and taste. One of the most popular food after the Moghulai or what we call Punjabi food in the restaurants, it is also a popular street food after the popular Indian street foods like Pau-Bhaaji and Chaats of various kinds. The term Manchurian is also result of their connection with region of China. Among the most popular items are Egg Fried Rice, Veg Noodles, Chicken Noodles, Veg Manchurian, Chilli Chicken to name a few. At Curryfix we have made a serious effort to recreate the taste of this cuisine, we are pleased with what we have done so far.
