20.01.2022 Paani puri - classic indian Street food with few Indian states having devised their own variation to this dish ! This dish consists of 4 components - the 'puri' which is the hollow crisp ball; the potato mix (or depending on which part of India you're at, this could also be a sprouts mix or even chickpeas); and the mint and tamarind sauces. These sauces have a watery consistency and hence the term 'paani' (the Hindi word for Water) Other names for this dish- golgappa (in nort...h India) / puchka (in east india) Easy to make and absolutely delicious- sweet, tangy, spicy and mouth watering snack!
