19.01.2022 Tamar Rural Youth are seeking expressions of interest for sponsorship to help build our own dog high jump. The Rural Youth Organisation of Tasmania Inc., is a dynamic Organisation for young people between the ages of 15 and 30. Each club is completely self-funded, since restarting the Tamar Rural Youth Club in 2017 with only 4 members the club has grown to 15 active members in 2020. After taking 3 years to design a dog high jump, we are now in a position to start the buildin...g process. The full dog high jump is estimated to cost $2,500 for the raw materials. Unfortunately, we cant do this all ourselves and are looking for local business to help our club and wider community with this project. Once built the dog high jump would be used regularly, starting with our local shows and other events throughout the Tamar Valley and North East region. We would also allow other Rural Youth Clubs throughout the state, the use of our dog high jump at their local events. We are seeking 8 sponsors to donate $250 each, sponsors of this amount would be provided with many benefits to their businesss brand and awareness. We are more than happy to talk to any business or individual regarding other sponsorship options available. For further information please contact the club via our Facebook page or via email [email protected] We would love the opportunity to promote local businesses working alongside the Tamar Rural Youth Club.

19.01.2022 This evening our club would normally be gathered for our monthly meeting. However during this unprecedented crisis we are taking the time to stay home, to be with our families and to plan for our clubs bright future! We plan to spring back bigger better and more confident then ever! watch this space! ... We are all still very much active so please feel free to send us a message if you have any questions or enquiries

19.01.2022 Congratulations Patrick! Well deserved

17.01.2022 A quick throwback to the Devistating fires throughout the Central Highlands and Southern Tasmania earlier this year. One such volunteer, Ricky Edson from Georgetown Fire Brigade, a member of Tamar Rural Youth, was only to willing to get in and help out.... As this season rolls around again it is a timely reminder for all Tasmanians to be prepared and to have a Bush fire survival plan in place. http://www.fire.tas.gov.au/Show
