14.01.2022 Attention SSACT Community - Regional and National Events In light of Friday's announcement and action from Monday, the SSACT Council, will be consulting with th...e Education Directorate and other stakeholders, such as venue operators, early Monday to determine the viability of conducting our Term 1 regional events. Whilst some events will fall below the 500+ people gathering recommendation, the health and well being of our students and teachers is at the forefront of our considerations. In the big scheme of things none of these events can be considered 'essential.' In regard to School Sport Australia Championships we will keep you posted as information comes to hand. 10.01.2022 Attention: 2020 State Team Official Vacancies School Sport ACT operates almost entirely by an army of passionate volunteers that assist in the running of our ev...ents or by taking up the role of a State Team Officials position. Please find below the list of available State Team Official positions for 2020. These positions have become vacant due to the end of the 2 year appointment cycle or a change in circumstance for first year appointments. They are to be undertaken as a 2 year appointment but it is understood if circumstances change for either party that causes the agreement to end after the first year. Note that each team needs to have a relevant gender balance of officials and at least one needs to be a teacher. As the website is not quite ready to go live you can contact the SSACT office on 61030777 or [email protected] for further information and the Application Form to be emailed to you.
