21.01.2022 Students Wellbeing Events on Kalgoorlie Campus this week. On Tuesday we are going into the virtual world in the library Makerspace. We have set aside 15min intervals for you to learn how to manipulate items in the virtual work and perhaps have a go on the roller coaster. Just come in to the library when you have some time tomorrow and we can send you into the other worlds.... While you are waiting we will have sets of the Kalgoorlie campus VR headsets with the 10 minute underground and open pit 3D for you to check out. Library and Curtin Connect Staff See more

16.01.2022 Dear Kalgoorlie Students, we have some Arduino robots and other things to create with when we get back on Campus. For the time being some of you may be interested in these online sessions on the UniHub.https://unihub.curtin.edu.au/students log in and search for Makerspace, there are 16 sessions, including, the first session on Arduino Wednesday 13th May 10-12 noon.

There is a Facebook group for all members of the Curtin community and Curtin Library Makerspace visitors to share ideas, projects and more about all things craft, invention, innovation, play and design. Check out the group online. Kalgoorlie Makers are starting up in week two. We will be having a regular Crafternoon and a tech afternoon .... Please reply your preferred afternoons and The maker activities you enjoy or are interested in A project you are currently working on, no matter how large or small We're pleased to have you all here!

14.01.2022 Dear Students the Spring Festival is on today until 3:30. Hammond Park. Free bus every 1/2 hour from Kmart car park. It’s fun and a lovely day!

13.01.2022 The building is open and can be accessed via swipe card 8.30am to 5pm, Monday Sunday. Curtin Connect, Library services and the study spaces continue to be available at this stage. The physical library collection is currently unavailable but online resources including the catalogue, study skills, and study and research guides are still available. 05.01.2022 The lovely Staff in Curtin Connect Kalgoorlie (Student Services) Nicolie and Vim have joined with the Library Staff Mieke and Teresa to make us one team for Semester 2, 2020. From the 27th of June, Vim our Student Services Assistant will be at the Help Desk and Nicolie our Student Services Advisor will be in Building 701 Room 120.
