03.01.2022 Not many people in my new life on the Gold Coast know much about the years I spent on surf trips with friends, living in cars and chasing the best waves in amazing locations around most of Australia.. oh how times have changed, here is a place called ‘monuments’ located in South Australia, you must first drive for for about a day straight, turn off the 1 road stretching from South Aus to West Aus, desert behind you and 30ft cliff at your toes as you look down at this wave, t...hen if you dare, scale the cliff down and paddle out into that black water, looking down into the freezing water and realise is a deep deep under water cliff edge there too, never knowing what lurks beneath.. the waves are absolutely pumping and no one out but who you drove there with, full of adrenaline and fear knowing this is Great White territory.. enjoy.. life on the edge..
