20.01.2022 Yesterdays set. 4 weeks between sets. I dont recommend going this long between fills but sometimes we dint always have the luxury of time. Only two nails had moderate lifting, which is impressive for an early childhood educator. We all know how rough their jobs are on their hands! 11.01.2022 Some new and exciting things are in the pipelines! I have been investigating press on nails and have trialled a few sets on some regular clients and so far Im happy with the results! Due to the outrageous demand for press on stock, Im currently waiting on a bulk delivery of glue to arrive as I only have a limited amount here. ... So while Im waiting very impatiently for this to arrive, I would like to get a foot in the door and start finding out who wants to start rocking these babies and if so, what sizes your nails are. The way you can measure your nails is by using a sewing tape to measure across the middle of your nail plate from side to side. Please note that if you dont get the measurements right, your press on nails will either be too small or too big for your nail, and it will not sit right. You must measure exactly from the edge of each side across your nail plate. Next, you can tell me how long youd like your press on nails by measuring from the middle of the tip of your finger to however long youd like your press ons to be. If it helps, trace your hand out on a blank sheet of paper and mark your added on length on there from the tips of your fingertips so you can get a rough idea of whether your desired length is matching up and will be long/short enough. (Refer to my terrible diagram if you need to) A full set of these will be $60 with free, non contact delivery available to ensure our health and safety is not compromised. 02.01.2022 Ok Cuties, while its fresh on my mind, lets have a quick chat about the types of extensions I offer. Picture #1 is of the 3 methods I currently use to build nail extensions. I have numbered them in order of preference of use, and to use as a reference. #1 is my favourite. They are forms, and give your fingers a big hug while I build your extensions. You should note that these cannot be used to build extensions for serious nail biters. Some nail is required for them to si...t flush under the free edge of your nails. Creates a seamless extension, meaning they wont suddenly snap if you accidentally jab them on something. #2 are dual forms. These are my go tos for nail biters. They are a little more tricky than the normal forms (#1) which means slightly more time consuming. However, they are still a seamless extension. #3 are tips, and I basically have them for show. My latest set is going on 3 weeks now which I used tips for and so far Ive had two breakages in the last two days. Because they attach more than halfway down the nail plate, the stress point really needs reinforcing or you will fell it if you jam them in something. (In my case, usually our sliding door handles) I have tried and cannot find any love for tips at all. They took me two times longer to apply and build a nail than using #1 or 2 forms. Pic #2 is of my emergency repair that took me about 15 minutes to quickly build using #1 forms.
