24.01.2022 Happy Mother’s Day Uranquinty ladies! We haven’t been able to do our annual Mother’s Day cake stall this year but it doesn’t stop you from creating something amazing with the family at home . Rachel Whiting has a heap of crab apples available if anyone wants some! Has made an awesome Crab Apple paste, great for cheese or with pork. Contact Rachel if you’d like a kg.

22.01.2022 We had a beautiful end of year meeting at the Coolamon old Convent for High Tea last Sunday. So nice to get together after a year when sometimes it’s just been too difficult. Thank you to all members who joined us. We were thinking of those that couldn’t. Here’s for a great 2021!

19.01.2022 Microscope Grant from Wagga Wagga City Council to CWA Uranquinty Evening to implement science workshop in remote schools. A glimpse of the day at Uranquinty Primary School with Celia Connor, Jacinta Finger and Aurelie Quade. We achieved 100% engagement from the students ranging from kindy to year 6. Thank you to Charles Sturt University for lending us equipment. It was a highly successful day, students were teaching other students and their teachers. Are all students confident in their ability to learn science subject? They all said "yes". CWA Uranquinty Evening kicking goals and more to come at Humula and Tarcutta!

09.01.2022 This is what the ‘new normal’ of CWA catering looks like! Members of CWA Uranquinty Evening branch baked and prepared sandwiches and one member put it all together in these individual catering boxes following all food handling and COVIDSafe guidelines. We can still assist our communities. Thanks everyone!

05.01.2022 On Friday Toni Nugent and Mardi MJ Walker from our Uranquinty Evening Branch presented a certificate of appreciation to Rob at Wagga Fruit Supply for his amazing support and donation of fruit and veggie to our branch to assist in making salad rolls for the volunteer firefighters who fought the Dunn’s Rd fire at Tarcutta in January. Its the support of our local businesses such as Wagga Fruit Supply that enable us to give back and support our local communities. Wonderful to be able to recognise Rob and his business.
